In the beginning of the first book, The Philosopher's Stone (aka The Sorcerer's Stone in the USA) Hagrid uses a flying motorbike from Sirius Black, at the end of The Prisoner of Azkaban, Sirius Black uses Buckbeak which belonged to Hagrid as a way to escape.
