MOVIES/DRAMAS TO WATCH!

List 1

There are many, many movies and videos out there that are exciting, interesting, or just plain unrealistic. With this Top 5, you may enjoy corny and awesome movies/dramas. Most of these are "ASIAN," but enjoy. (I mean all!)

THE F4 SECTION

(Off from the Japanese manga, "Hana Yori Dango.") The "F4" concept is actually known as "Flower Four," where four guy friends who grew up together form a group known as "F4." They are the richest boys in "Japan," but there are different versions, so where ever they may be from is where they are the richest in. The main guy is the richest one of all. He is a spoiled brat who seems to be the biggest bully ever. That is when the main girl somehow entangles herself into his life, making them both become victims in a lot of corny drama. (I love Hana Yori Dango thooo....it's the best version--for me!)

4. Meteor Garden- This is the Taiwanese version of "Hana Yori Dango." Same concept and everything, but of course the plots will differ in surroundings, characters, and attitudes, as each version is unique to its own tastes and actions. 3. Hana Yori Dango- This is the original Japanese version. You can find this on Youtube (beware that 2nd season, if you ever get that far and enjoy it, may have some issues in speaking to video play, as it may be off due to copyrights, etc.) or KissAsian. Bollywood Movies

A lot of people don't know it, but I grew up watching a lot of Bollywood movies too. They are great, though can be exaggerated and corny and "intense." Even with all the music, long plots, and dances, the movies are bomb...trust me. There is a great lot of acting and the video above all this stuff is a Youtube video of an instrumental song that I love so much from a movie I will be listing as number one. 

2. Kuch Kuch Hota Hai- This Bollywood movie is about two best friends, Rahul and Angali, unknowingly fall in love, but being interrupted by a woman named Tina. It is much deeper and heart-wrenching than this small detail, so please check it out! (I would say this is my favorite Bollywood movie, though.) You can definitely find this on Netflix. 1. Kal Ho Naa Ho- This Bollywood movie is too intense for words. The main guy, who seems to pop up in every Bollywood movie, is Shahrukh Khan whose name is Aman in this movie. The main girl, Naina, has a dysfunctional family, especially since her father's death, but meets the main guy and falls in love with him. Aman holds a deep secret that only he knows, though he loves the main girl. He ends up trying to help her fall in love with a friend instead. This is also on Netflix. Obviously, if you can't find any of these with the links, please search it up and hopefully there are some links still available that you can watch this off of, especially those with Eng. subtitles. These movies and dramas are really great. You just have to understand the culture or be open-minded. I am also a corny and weird person, so maybe only these types of films get me.
