Hello all!
as much as you thought I was gone I'm back! blimey its been like 4/5 years since I updated and I hate myself for it omg im so sorry..
Anyway I've decided I'm going to continue with this story because not only has this story got 88k reads which is insane! but I also re-read these books last year and planned on doing this sooner- until covid happened- but either way im here now! and I hope you continue to enjoy the story written by my 17 year old self instead of 13 year old amelia haha
In a more technical sense, I'm planning on merging chapters and removing the filler ones because I KNOW how annoying those were as they are product of my own procrastination... I really want this fic to be better than it was- as I mentioned I started this in 2016 so I had just turned 13 lol (which is CRAZY as I'm going to uni in september wtf!). This whole section will change and be updated with how its been sorted if anyone manages to see it before I finish all of said sorting.
Most if not all chapters will be drafted and then republished as I go through them (some of which are already done!) so please be patient with me :')
I still plan on basing this book on the movie as not only does that fit better canonically for my fanfic but I feel the movie has a bigger fanbase for readers too - who knows maybe i'll merge them slightly! only time will tell :)
Update 24/01/2021: You can probably already see merges with the movie and the books from chapter 1 with nicknames and such- additionally I may add scenes as obviously the book(s) are much longer, but the characters will stay the same to the movie e.g. movie Emma and Olive but with movie Emma in book Olive's scenes in the book etc (does that even make sense lmao) anyway you'll probably get the gist... I hope!
Additionally I don't have the heart to delete things like the disclaimer or the playlist because not only did those songs become very important to 13yr old amelia but I also still love them lol
