Secrets

Wtf was I thinking?

Piper P/O/V

  "Oh hey Piper?" Came a annoyingly loud voice from behind me,

  "What?" I turned sharply to find Rachel Dare staring at me expectantly.

  "I was wondering if you've seen Reyna?" I shook my head in annoyance.

  "No." She slumped a little,

  "We were supposed to study but she has bailed again!" She turned sharply and was out of the hallway within seconds.

  My heart slowed down a notch. The less people the better,  I could feel myself falling into darkness, being caught up in the devils lair.

  My mind moved quickly, decided to find an abandoned classroom and miss the bus, I can't be with people right now.

 I moved in to the first classroom on my right slamming the door behind me, and throwing my coat onto a table.

 My expectation was to find an empty classroom to deal with my problems but what I found instead was Reyna Avila Ramirez Arellano sitting on the ground with a heavy heart and teary eyes. The girl was breathing heavy and tearing at the collar of her shirt begging for breath

  My heart sped up, she was having a panic attack.

 I decided against my better mind and started walking slowly to the other girl. I sat down, keeping my distance but staying close enough to help her.

  Reyna began to scratch at her throat and whimpering.

  "Help, Help," She was full blown crying now.

  Piper tried to calm her nerves, her heart was thumping against it's cage and her mind was reeling.

  She did the only thing she could think of, Slowly unbuttoning Reyna's white T-shirt, 

  "It's okay. It's going to be okay." I whispered soothingly. 

  My cheeks burn and I force myself not to stare at her exposed skin.

  Slowly Reyna began to calm down to the point where she wasn't gasping for breath anymore, instead she was sitting there gently looking around her as if just realizing where she was.

  Eventually I caught her eye and she turned bright red buttoning up her shirt again,

  "I'm so sorry," She began to say in her deep voice.

  "Don't be sorry, It happens." She smiled making my hands fidget.

  Okay I'll be 100% honest with you, I have had a major crush on Reyna since Freshmen year. I know I know a coincedence that I find her having a panic attack, It's shaping up to be one of those gawdy fan-fictions (That I most defiantly don't read...)

  "Listen if we just couldn't you know tell people?" I nod a little to fast.

  "Yeah, Yeah sure. I'll keep your secret." I bat my eyes and then cringe at my childishness.

  "Okay, well then it's only fair that I get a secret of your." Her smile take over me with a power I haven't felt in ages,

  "A secret for a secret?"

  "Yeah," She bites her lip.

   "I like someone, A lot." She laughs,

   "Who?" 

  "You'll have to earn that secret." I tell her standing up,

 Her eyes glint, 

  "Maybe you can tell me tomorrow at the park?" 

  "Only if you tell me another one of your secrets." I bravely try to hide my excitement.

  "Okay," She tries to shield her nervous grin, "A secret a day then?"   

   She stands up and grabs her leather jacket putting it on agonizingly slow.

  "A secret a day." I whisper daring myself not to think about the scenes involuntarily playing in my mind. 

  She bites her lip nervously playing with the ring placed there.

  "On one circumstance," her eyes travel to my exposed waist, (I silently praise my sense to wear my loose crop top today). "No one ever finds out, and we have to tell the complete truth always." I can see the apprehension in her eyes.

  "Of course." I lift my arms dramatically to shag on my jacket. 

  She smiles and runs her hand through her hair, 

  "The park then? One?" She ventures to the door.

  "See you there."
