''Stiles- go.'' I spat a little too harshly before crawling away, careful not to slip on the poles. Not even a few seconds passed and it was already becoming stuffy due to the hot water pipes that were leaking and steaming from the side of us.
''Hey, slow down, are you alright?'' Liam panted from behind me, the sweat beginning to form across my forehead. ''I'm fine.'' I grumbled, ''Stiles just annoys me.'' I rambeled out. ''I hate him.''
Of course I didn't mean that. I didn't hate him at all, I was just pissed at the fact he snapped at me earlier for no reason. If he doesn't want to waste his time on me then he doesn't have to- we're doing completely seperate things now, he doesn't have to 'watch' me all the time now.
''You don't mean that..'' Liam grabbed my ankle from preventing me crawling anymore. ''And he doesn't mean what he said either- he's obviously just worked up over this full situation, it will blow down later.'' He explained budging up closer to me as my feet rested on the uneasy roofing below my feet.
Why does this place have a basement under a basement?
''It just annoys me when he acts like my mom.'' I rolled my eyes, Liam's arm wrapping over my shoulder. His touch made my stomach flutter as I raised my hand to hold onto his slightly clammy one.
''He's only looking out for you.'' His eyes met mine and before I knew it his lips also met my own. It was almost irrississtable to pull off him, but when my foot suddenly poked through the roof and I went slipping down between the pipes it was kinda hard to keep kissing him.
My body roughly came in contact with the cold floor, my hip immediatly pulsing with pain, the impact of the fall causing me to loose my breath for a second.
''Oh my god..'' Liam was quick to jump down next to me, his hand resting on my shoulder. ''Are you- are you okay?'' He panicked as I uncomfertably pushed myself up, feeling the strange magic of my bones healing working inside of me.
''I'll be okay.. Just- Malia?'' The sudden shock of falling through a roof wasn't so bad anymore. Malia was sat there, a bear trap clawed deep into her leg, the blood she was loosing causing me to almost throw up.
''Help..'' She choked out as Liam was quick to move forwards, sketchily I crawled over, my hands shaking over the wound, the sudden memory of me helping Liam out of one of these things vanishing.
''Jenna??'' Liam breathed out. ''Yeah- y-yeah, I'll figure it out in a second..'' I murmered but his hand grabbed my arm. ''No, look.'' His eyes narrowed down a hall where around 6 extremely large and armed men all huddeled together in a circle, the sound of some kind of whirring machine blocking them from hearing the roof shattering in the room next to them.
''Okay, okay..'' I whispered, Liam grabbing me and pulling me behind the wall so they couldn't see us. Swiftly, I bent down, my finger running along the chain to find where the pin would hopefully be. ''How did you get here?'' Liam questioned in shock to Malia as she seethed through her teeth, letting out an agonised scream as he tried to shush her.
From the other room I listened in to what they were saying, their words making me panic more to find this stupid pin.
''Should we kill her now??'' One man's groggy voice questioned as I pursed my lips in anticipation.
''No, not yet. Wait until the alpha tell's us where his beta's are first.'' Huh, how ironic. We were right next to them...
Malia was crying in desperation, agonized and traumatised at the fact she had a huge bear trap on her leg.. Being as quite as possible I swiped some dust and mud off what looked to be attatched to the box, the pin coming in my view. Bingo.. I mentally yelled out, nervously getting ready to pull the pin as a hot breath caused me to pause. Liam was basically leaning over my shoulder, trying me to hurry.
Quickly, I gestured him away turning to see the large metal clamp around Malia's leg. With a swift nod of reassurance I pulled the pin causing a gasp of releif to leave Malia's mouth but a large clambering of the metal coming in contact with the floor echoing around the room.
''What was that?!'' Heavy footsteps made their way over to us as I snatched Malia's arm, death gripping it as I pointed up towards the roof. ''Jump- now- hurry!'' I knew her leg had not yet healed but I literally threw her up, Liam's hand pushing me up myself as I struggled to clamber over the pipes.
''That way- go, go!'' I pushed Malia along who was having a bad time with her leg. Liam, managed to get half way up when a hunter snatched his leg, ready to yank him down until my foot in his face pushed him off.
''Hurry, hurry!'' Liam forced me forwards, the three of us scrambling on our hands and knee's through the piped area. My heart was racing, I swear it was so loud I could hear the unsteady rhythm of it pounding against my chest, the other two teenager's also sounding the exact same.
It got to the point where my breathing and gasping was the only thing I could hear. We were in so much trouble, the worst thing was this wasn't even the start of it..
