Azula's Servant (Zuko x reader)

Trying

The table was a large circle with the center cut out for the chefs to cut, plate, and explain each dish. The table had various foods from various places and some specific to the island.

Sokka nearly cried when he saw the seal jerky. "Katara! Are you seeing what I'm seeing? Suki you have to try the seal."

"I don't know Sokka..."

Aang was seated next to Lily, who were both strictly vegetarian. Zuko sat next to Lily and you sat next to Zuko.

"There are so many dishes I've never seen..." you whispered and looked around but he smiled.

"I know a lot of them, so I'll help you. I've spent some time in the Earth Kingdom to know what's good."

Toph laughed and smiled. "You sure sparky? Tea isn't the only thing we know... Nobles love roasted flying bison."

Aang looked towards Toph with a tear in his eye. "What?"

"Ah, sorry twinkle toes. Don't worry Appa is safe with me."

Sokka nudged your side and smiled. "Zuko knows fire nation and Earth Kingdom food, I know Water tribe food. You're sitting in between the best people."

Katara called over to Sokka from Aang's right side. "I don't know about that. You tend to chew with your mouth open..."

"Hey!!! It's because I bite off more than I can chew..."

Zuko added in "in more ways then one..."

The rest cracked up laughing but the chime of a glass was heard to gather their attention. Miss Lee was standing and smiling.

"We are going to commence the tea serving ceremony. _________ may you serve the tea?"

Your eyes widened until you realized, tea needs boiling water. The chefs invited you into the center ring and moved out so you can bend.

There was a large jug of water on the ground for you to bend. You lifted all the water to surround your hands and made it boil rather quickly. You began with Sokka and made a ring of water ending at your seat. You separated the ring to beads of water that would be one glass full and lowered the water to reduce splashing.

An earth water bender switched spots with you and moved tea leaves into each cup. He then moved the lids onto every glass and let it steep. You sat in your chair and watched the rest of the process. He raised the lids, removed every leaf and bowed.

People began to grab their glass, so you followed.

"To balance." Miss Lee cheered.

"To balance!"

"And love!" Lily added and everyone smiled.

"And love!"

Soon everyone began to down their glass entirely.  You Toph and Zuko did the same with no problem. Katara Lily and Aang cooled theirs of and followed... Sokka... well...

"Ooow! Hot hot HOT!"

Everyone laughed and chanted Sokka's name. The chef explained it was good tea if someone burns themselves. Suki giggled as Sokka stuck out his tongue in pain.

"Sorry Sokka, was it too much?" You sneered and elbowed him lightly.

He pouted and glared.

"Suki can kiss it better."

His face burned red and Suki laughed again.

The chef smiled and told the group they can start to eat. Sokka began to piled his plate, Suki's plate, and half of yours. "Try these!"
