So, you've finally decided to return.

A small, minuscule spark of goodness enlightened my heart today, but...

Before I could get too elated, Conscience reminded me of one thing:

"There's a price that you have to pay if you want to keep him." She whispered.

The speed of my heartbeat decreases with every word.

"Oh yeah. I forgot." I said.

"You should be happy that someone decided to cast the slightest bit of attention upon you." Says Conscience.

"Don't ever make him angry."

"His feelings are fragile."

"Do not upset him."

"Give him whatever he wants from you."

"You CANNOT hurt his heart. "

"If you do, he'll leave you by yourself again. Just like all the others..."

"Then, you'll have NO ONE. We don't want that again, do we?"

I quickly shake my head, scared of the very thought of being lonely again.

"I don't want to mess up this time." I say.

Conscience rolls her eyes. "Let's just hope he stays interested in you this time."
