"Where the hell is Niall?" Louis asks, setting his phone down

"Where the hell is Niall?" Louis asks, setting his phone down.

We've been sitting here for ten minutes, occupied with our phones after Harry left. We barely know each other, so it's kind of awkward at the same time. I tried to avoid it by going on my phone and checking every possible social networking app.

"You'd think he was taking a shit." Louis sighs, and I lightly laugh to reply back somehow.

He's probably right though. Niall's been gone for too long to just be taking a wee.

Niall does come back after a few more minutes. He plops himself right back beside me on the bench, proceeding to ask where Harry had gone. I tell him Harry came to the mall to meet his friends originally, not to hang out with us. He frowns and comments something hateful but I don't care to hear it.

Him and Louis talk for another couple of minutes, and I've finished my cup by that time, only to listen in the conversation and stay quiet. Louis then announces that it's time for him to go and meet with some counselors and leaves Niall to me.

They say their goodbyes and just like Harry, Louis goes and disappears behind the game machines.

"So," I say, feeling more at ease.

Niall's still sitting right next to me while his leg is shaking—a bad and annoying habit of his—and it's rubbing on my side. I plant my hand down on his leg, pushing it down so he would stop. He snickers in response and murmurs, "Sorry."

He stops shaking and I take my hand back, feeling the awkward vibe it's starting to form while my hand rested there. I take a quick swallow.

"According to Harry, you've claimed me for the night so what're we doing?" I ask, and Niall knits his eyebrows together, his lips in a flat line until he grins and chuckles.

"What? Harry said I claimed you?" Niall asks with a tone of disbelief. I nod my head and raise my eyebrows at him, letting him know that I can't believe it myself.

"Yep." I say, watching Niall for his reaction.

"While you went to the restroom, he said you were annoying," I continue. Niall's listening closely with a grin. "He said if I wanted, he was going to tell you off or whatever, and he even asked if we had a thing." Niall starts laughing right when I end my sentence.

"Wow." He says, shaking his head. "Can't believe it."

"I'm not lying," I say. "You can ask Louis yourself, he was here and he heard all of it."

"No, it's not that. It's the fact that it worked." I look at him confused, not knowing what he's talking about.

"What worked?" I ask, and Niall pauses silently to look at me like I should know.

"The plan, stupid." Niall says, and I lightly punch him on his arm, and he acts like I hurt him by rubbing it with his other hand. I am stupid though, I knew he was talking about his dumb plan of making Harry 'jealous'. I just didn't think of it right then.
