Chapter 13

Kurt's POV
~

*one week later*

"Are you sure you're ready to go through with this?" I asked Blaine as he laid in the hospital bed, preparing for his surgery in a couple of hours.
He nodded with a smile as he grabbed my hand and squeezed it.

"It's going to go great." Blaine signed.

"I know it is." I smiled back at him.

"Is he ready?" Mr. Anderson said as he walked into the room.

"He's been waiting for this forever, I think he's more than ready." I responded, looking over at Blaine.

"Well the doctor said 1 more hour left and then he'll be ready for the operation!" He said, clapping his hands together and walking back out of the room.

"1 more hour and then you're good to go." I told Blaine. He nodded slowly.

*1 hour later*

"Blaine, are you ready?" I asked after the doctor had come in to inform us the surgery was about to happen.

"Let's get my hearing back" he signed.
I nodded towards the doctor
"He's ready to go." I said with a slight smile.

"Well we'll see you soon then! You can either go home or sit in the waiting room until we're done. It should be only an hour or two." The doctor said as he pushed Blaine's cot out of the door.
Blaine waved as he went past, a nervous smile plastered on his face.

It's going to go great, I remember Blaine saying.
It's going to go great, I repeated over and over again as I walked towards the waiting room.
It's going to go great.

"You okay, kid?" Mr. Anderson asked as I sat down in the seat next to him.

"It's going to go great." I whispered as I pulled my knees towards my chest.

"I sure hope so." He whispered in response, turning back to the magazine he was reading.
