Blaine's POV
~
I slowly opened my eyes to a dark room, sunlight was slightly streaming in through the closed blinds.
When did I fall asleep?
I dug my phone out of my pocket and looked at the time "2:21 pm", it read. Shit.
I slowly got up and walked towards the front of the room, finding the light switch and flicking it on.
I groaned as the bright light cut on. I looked around the room to realize I was still in Kurt's office.
Why am I here?
Did I fall asleep here?
Where is Kurt?
I cracked the door open to the lobby to see if anyone was out there. There was a little girl with dark curly hair sitting on the chair swinging her legs back and forth. The only other person in there was Linda.
I slowly walked out, shutting the door behind me.
Linda looked over in my direction and smiled, hand motioning me to come over.
She stretched her hand out with a sticky note as I walked over to her. I grabbed the sticky note and started to read it.
"Blaine, I didn't want to wake you, but I had other appointments to take care of. I'll be giving you a ride home tonight. If I'm not back by the time you wake up, make yourself comfortable in my office. Ask Linda to get you some food if you start to get hungry. I should be back by 3:30. ~Kurt"
"Thank you." I signed to Linda.

"Do you want me to get you some food?" She asked.

"No thanks. I'm not that hungry." I signed as I felt my stomach growl. She gave me a knowing look and opened her desk drawer, handing me a menu.
I smiled walking over and sitting near the little girl, looking over the menu.
General Tso Chicken sounds good. Maybe some broccoli and soy sauce? Yeah. Maybe I'll get that.
I was about to stand up when the little girl walked over to me and sat down.
She started to speak.
"I'm sorry?" I signed.
She smiled and signed back at me.
"I said I like your bow tie!"

"Thank you! It's my favorite."

She signed something I didn't understand back.

"I don't understand." I responded.

She raised her eyebrows at me. She stood up, walked in front of me and patted her hand on top of my curls. Then she took her hands and flared them around her head, laughing.
I laughed along with her, assuming she's trying to tell me something along the lines of "your hair looks like Medusa".
She waved goodbye at me as she walked back to her seat, plopped down, and continued to swing her legs.
I got up and walked back over to Linda, looking back at the little girl with a smile.
"That's Penny." Linda signed.

"She's cute." I said. I handed her back the menu asking her for my order. Once she placed the order I walked back into Kurt's office and laid back on the couch, taking my phone out.
"1 New Message" lit up on the screen.
I put my password in as my phone opened my messages.

Wes: Yo, dude, where have you been? I went by your place yesterday but you weren't there. I'm getting worried. Boss man wants to know what's going on.

I typed a response back.

Me: Something came up, wanna get coffee or something tomorrow? I'll explain then.

I set my phone down on the couch.
How the hell am I going to explain this?
I felt my phone vibrate.

Wes: Tomorrow's good. How about 1? That little corner cafe you like to go to.

Me: Sounds good to me.

Maybe I'll ask Kurt to come along with me. I'd rather not carry a whiteboard around with me everywhere I go. That way he can be my translator. I hope he says yes.

I saw the door open from the corner of my eye as Linda walked in with a bag.
"Here's your food!"

"Thanks Linda. How much was it?" I signed, reaching into my pocket to get my wallet.
