Almost to the top. The clicking sound echos in her head. Was she really about to do this? It's a long way down. No, it's too late. She can't stop now. So many people are watching her now. She's already at the top. Time seems to freeze. In the dark, the lights of the park sparkle on the lake. She stares in awe at the beautiful skyline of where she used to be. But, now she is at the top of the tower. Her thoughts swim through her head so fast she can't keep track. As she's at the edge her stomach does flips. She's so nervous. How could her friends have pushed her to this? This is the last time they will do it. Suddenly she's falling. Her beautiful landscape turns into a blur. This is it, she thought. Her stomach feels like it's floating. She clutches at herself tightly. It's almost over. She hears the people's screams as she falls. Her last fall. The ground is approaching quickly. She knows because the Street lamps of the ground have come into view from the back of her eyelids. The screams are louder then before. Then everything slows down and the screams stop. The ride jerks to a stop. The restraints release her and she jumps off and runs down the stairs to her friends telling them how scary the free fall ride was. She told them about the beautiful view. She also mentioned that she wouldn't be pressured into riding it again.
