Y/n POV

It's a Saturday night and I'm doing nothing. All the paper works at the office are done, I signed all the important files and all that shit.

I checked my phone one more time for any texts or calls from anyone but, as usual, none. I may be rich and powerful but I don't have many friends.

I closed my eyes and sighed, I was about to fall asleep when my phone rings beside me.

Picking it up, I saw Dave calling me.

"Hello?" I answered while rubbing my eyes.

"Yo! Y/n!! Are you busy tonight?"

"If 'busy' means doing nothing all night, then yeah. I am, why?"

"Ha. Ha. Anyways, we're here at the dock. There's a newbie here and he's really good!!"

"Yeah? What's his name?" I asked while sitting up looking for my shoes.

"I don't know but he brought a beautiful girl, I think she's a goddess."

"You call every girl a goddess, Dave," I said while chuckling.

"I don't. Just, come down here. Maybe you can even have a race with him."

"Yeah. I'm on my way," I said before hanging up and putting on my leather jacket.

Lauren POV

"You're the only one who's free!! Besides, mom and dad doesn't wanna come with me," Chris said to me.

"What if they need me back at the hospital?" I asked.

"Laur, your shift ended hours ago. I'm sure they won't need you at the hospital."

"What if--"

"Stop with the 'what ifs', laur. I just need someone to come with me," Chris said while looking at me with his puppy dog eyes.

Ugh, curse those puppy dog eyes. I don't want to go but he's my brother.

"Okay, okay!! I'm coming with you!!" I said while throwing my hands up.

"Yes!! Thanks, laur!! Come on, we're gonna be late!!" Chris said while standing up.

I rolled my eyes and stood up, grabbing my jacket and car keys. Following my hyper brother outside, I saw his 2017 black Lamborghini. He opened the passenger door for me but I shook my head.

"I want to stay alive, Chris. And besides, if they needed me back at the hospital I can just go there easily."

He rolled his eyes but got in his car while I got in my white Mercedes, following him to where the venue is.

It's been 4 hours since we arrived here at the 'dock'. When we arrived, someone challenged my little brother and guess what? He won. He won his first race and I couldn't be more happier for him.

"Did you see me, laur? I was really good!!" Chris said while jumping.

"Yeah. But don't get too cocky or you'll lose your second race of the night."

"I know, but I'm---" Chris said but got interrupted when someone shouted.

"She's here!! Everyone, move aside!!" A tall boy with black curly hair said while opening the gates of the huge warehouse.

When the gates opened, Chris' eyes widened as well as mine. A beautiful matte black Maserati Alfieri came in with a roaring engine. The whole venue is quiet except for the luxurious car.
