For this final round, it's time for Nickey to show you what she's been planning.
As someone who loves when things get dramatic in writing, we want to know how you would take something dramatic: A Break-Up or a Love Scene.
Except you need to do this with a twist. There are so many love scenes these days that feel stale or over-written, always happening in private or a boring setting that no one wants to read for the millionth time. So if you had to write a break-up scene or a love scene, in which two character confess how they feel, how would it happen? Describe the scene in one of these four settings:
1. A Crowded Airplane
2. The Local Pool
3. A Dining Hall
4. A Doctors Office
The deadline for this is Wednesday, September 28th, 12:00 AM EST.
The world limit for this will be 1500 words or less.
