I was in a large school room. Zander was no were to be seen. Wait, who was Zander? Who was I? Then it hit me, I was Lilly Ryder, the only girl who was asked to stay after school. A teacher walked in, looked at me, then sat down.

" Mrs. Ryder do you know why you are here?"

"No sir"

"Because The Program is broken, wake up. WAKE UP!!!"

I opened my eyes to find it was a dream. Today was my first day on high school in a new town where I knew no one, and they didn't know me. Probably worst of all was that I was a nerdy, and probably wouldn't make any friends.  I put clothes I thought would pass for a normal kid, brushed my hair, and grabbed an apple.  On the way to the bus station this guy with black hair passed me on his skateboard and almost hit me.

"HEY! Watch were you're going!" I yelled at him.

He turned around, his stunning blue eyes looking back at me, then I saw it HE was Zander. Everything flashed white, then he was carrying me. Once at the station he put me down on the bench. I looked at him, and him at me.

"Are you Lilly Ryder?" He had sat down next to me.

"Only if you are Zander Ryan" I looked back into his eyes. Bad choice. Everything flashed White again, but this time he shook me.

"Lilly, stop looking at my eyes IT happens when you do," He looked a little hurt.

"What is the white? How do I know you? How do you know me?" I questioned as the bus approached. We stood up and walked onto the bus.

Once we were seated, he started explaining everything he could remember, wincing when it hurt to talk.

"I feel so stupid. How could I not recognize you?" I took his hand into mine.

"We shouldn't," He held my hand, " but I hope it never happens again."  His eyes looked sad as he got up and walked away leaving me in my seat.

The bus stopped, and he got off and went into the school building.

Zander and I exited the school building and walked across the street to a sad looking park. It had a few barren trees and the grass was surprisingly dead for this time of year. There was a small rusty playground with a swing  set and a merry go round.

Zander and I sat on the swings just looking at each other waiting for the other to say something. This wasn't our first time in The Program, but it was our first time doing it together.

I was about to speak when this man ran towards us and shot Zander in the face. I looked from Zander's now bloody face to the man who had just shot him. He was pointing the gun at me now. I got up and ran, but I felt the pain in my back then I woke up.
