Dear Readers,

Usually I would leave the origins of the title a mystery, but I have felt the need to disclose its meaning to at least somebody. These somebodies are you, the readers.

"Scars" recieved it's name as a reference to the struggles that will be elaborated on thoughout the novel, while also directly refering to two well-known quotes that stood out to me as I pondered what the name of this novel should be. These two quotes below are the basis upon which "Scars", a hopeful success, has been built.
