Riley finally pulled away, smiling down at me. I looked up at him confused, then suddenly my attention went towards the window where I saw the bushes moving as if some had disturbed them.

            “Is he looking?” Riley asked.

“Is who looking?” I whispered furrowing my brows turning to look at him.

“That guy from earlier. He was walking this way and I wanted to put on a show for him so he won’t bother you,” Riley grimaced. I looked as if he were growing another head, “the guy that wanted to walk you to class!”

“Oh! You’re talking about Josh,” I smiled, but then frowned. “Where is he?”

“Should be behind me, he walked by us when we were…you know,” he said uncomfortably. I giggled; I don’t think I had ever seen him this uncomfortable when it came to talking about kissing a girl. “Don’t,” he sighed. “Just don’t say anything.” He groaned. I stood on my tippy toes and looked over his shoulder. Josh was looking at us, more like glaring daggers at Riley’s back.

“Yep, he’s looking,” I grinned. “I think you would have been dead by now by the way he’s looking at you.”

“My work here is done!” He grinned triumphantly. He let go of me and asked, “Now, where is your class?”

“It’s the one Josh standing in front,” I whispered.

“He’s in your class?” I nodded. “It’s like he’s everywhere,” Riley sighed. “Well, why we don’t put on another show then, love?” he grinned.

“We aren’t kissing again, are we?” I asked as the thought made me feel anxious.

“No and never again will we be doing that, okay?” I nodded feverishly, “ Good! Because really felt as if I was kissing my own sister,” I giggled as he stuck his tongue out in disgust.

“I’m glad we both feel the same way,” I grinned.

“I got to go ‘cause I parked in a no parking zone. I have to run before the tow the car away.” I rolled my eyes. “Here, Henry said not to forget to give you lunch money, but I did so don’t tell him!” I giggled as he pointed his finger at me after he handed me the money.

            “I won’t,” I laughed.

“Hey Dawn!” Dave smiled at me as he walked up to us.

“And who might you be?” Riley glared at him.

“My name is Dave, I’m a friend of Monna and Dawn.” He said calmly. Riley turned to look at him. I nodded knowing what he was already thinking. “I’m Riley, nice to meet you!” Riley grinned as he stuck his hand out. Dave took his hand and shook it.

“Nice to meet you,” Dave smiled. “Pardon me for asking, but are you two together?” he asked curiously.

“Who says ‘pardon me’ anymore,” Riley laughed. I elbowed him and he doubled over as he grabbed his side. “What was that for?” he cried out.

“For being rude,” I hissed. “Come on, the bell is about to ring and I don’t want you getting into trouble.”

“Okay, okay, but that really hurt.” He said as he straightened out, rubbing his side.
