"Goodmorning, sunshine..." the deep voice rang from the kitchen as I walked through the doorway.

"Morning." I mumbled, sitting down at the table.

"You slept well last night." He commented.

"I was tired."

"I could tell." He chuckled.

I walked over to him and hugged him. "I miss him..." I mumbled.

"I know, baby girl..." He muttered back, holding me closely, stroking my hair.

I looked up at him, and saw a little bit of Wilford in his eyes. I think that's what drove me to do my next action, because then I was kissing him.

His hand moved to the side of my neck, thumb stroking my jaw. His other hand reached my cheek.

My hands clutched his shirt, pulling him ever so slightly closer.

He was gentle... like Wilford. And caring, and handsome... and sweet.

The sweetest of colors...

My eyes shot open, and I pulled away quickly. "I'm sorry." I said, lookin away.

"Its okay." He said quietly. He leaned his forehead on the side of my face, keeping his hands on the sides of my neck. He continued to stroke my jaw.

I moved my hands up to his, turning to look at him.

"You know I'm still Wilford, right?" He asked.

"Wilford is his own person."

"Wilford is nothing more than a character from a video." He argued.

"Who's come to life and killed tons of people."

He sighed. "If..."

"If...?" I pulled away and looked at him. "If what?"

"If I find a way to morph us back together-."

"You mean like, destroy him?"

Mark shrugged.

"No, Mark!" I cried. "I love him..." I looked down. "I miss him." I said.

"And you can still have him."

"Mark, you aren't Wilford!" I shouted. "You and him are two completely different people!"

"But-."

"But nothing! I want to go home!" I said.

"You are home."

"No. I'm staying at a house that I only arrived at yesterday." I said.

"Yeah, well... I'm not driving all the way back just to drop you off." He said.

"You don't have to." A voice said from the doorway behind us.

We turned and there stood a man in a pinstriped suit.

"Wilford!" I cried, running over to him.

He welcomed me with open arms, picking me up and spinning me. How cliche...

"I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry!" I repeated. "I love you so much!" I buried my face in the crook of his neck.

"Charlotte?" Wilford mumbled.

"Hm?"

"I love you."

I tightened my grip on him.

"But..."

I turned my head and kissed his cheek.

He chuckled, but then turned serious. "Never do that again."

"Yes, Wilford." I whispered.

Mark was leaning against the counter with his arms crossed. A smirk was playing at his lips. "Surprise."

"Thank you." I said as Wilford put an arm around me.

He led me to the glass elevator that I knew all to well. The glass chamber that had taken me from a place that I had once called a home to another that I now call my home.

"Charlotte..." Wilford chuckled as the doors closed and the elevator began to take off.

I turned around, and saw Wilford smirking at me. "What?" I laughed.

"Come here." He said.

I walked over to him, and he pulled me into a deeply passionate kiss.

"I love you." He said pulling away.

"I love you, too."
