Are you going to tell me where we are going now?" I said, as he led me through the streets. We were walking hand in hand, huddled close together. It was a cold night in October.
"We're almost there, I promise."
"My toes are going to fall off."
"If they do I will get you knew ones," he laughed.
"You'll get me new toes? How does that work?"
"I don't know, but for you, I would do anything," he said, kissing me on the forehead. "Here we are!" He said, gesturing to an old building.
"And this is...?" I asked, confused. It was an old movie theater in Boston, but he had been closed for a long time.
"This, is our dinner plans," he said, holding the door open for me. I walked in and was amazed at how nice the lobby was. From the outside it looked like an abandoned building, the inside was like stepping back in time. Red carpets, gold accents, the little ticket booth stood in the middle of the small lobby next to a small concession stand.
"What are we seeing?" I asked excitedly, rushing to the booth.
"Oh, a classic. I have connections," he winked at me. "Can we have two tickets for tonight's show?" he asked, and the man that sat in the booth nodded. He had the old time movie theater uniform on, the red suit with had included. He looked so funny. "This was, my dear," Justin said, leading me to a door in the back.
We walked into the theater, and half the seats were removed. Where they used to stand was now a table set for two, with candles and fancy plates. "Is this for us?" I whispered, astounded.
"Well I don't see anyone else here," he teased. He pulled my chair out for me as I sat down.
"Thank you, kinda sir."
"The pleasure is all mine, princess," he smiled at me.
"This, is...incredible," I said. I had no other words to describe it. "It's just amazing. You're amazing," I said, looking at him.
He smiled at me genuinely, "I think you are amazing too, Elena." Suddenly, the screen flickered. The old 10 second count down appeared on the screen, and then the movie began. I squealed when I saw the title of the movie.
"No way...no way! How did you get this?!" I asked, my jaw dropping to the floor. He laughed at my reaction, but look very pleased.
"Anything for my girl," he said.
"Can we go sit down there?" I asked, pointing towards the traditional seats. He nodded and we moved to the seats, and he wrapped his arms around me. By the end of the movie, I was crying. This was one of my favorite movies, EVER. "I can't believe you did that for me," I said, as he wiped away my tears.
"Don't cry," he whispered.
"How could I not cry? He dies in the end! He dies saving her! They can never be together," I explained.
"It's just a movie hun," he laughed.
"But it's the Titanic! It's an experience," I said laughing, and he laughed even harder.
"Come on, let's get home." He said, taking my hand.
"Are you staying over?"
"Is anyone home?"
"Nope, Jenessa took the weekend off. Who the hell knows where my parents are." I said.
"Then yes, if you want me to stay." He kissed my hand.
"Yeah, but let's just cuddle tonight. My ribs still hurt."
"Sounds good, even having you in my arms is a present to me."
