Chapter Twenty

*Elena's POV*

I laid in bed trying to memorize my lines for the play. I was so behind with all the drama lately. I groaned and dropped my script next to me, reaching for my water bottle. I tried moving as little as possible, because everything hurt. I had to lay off the pain killers though, because I was sleeping way too much, and getting way too little done. My phone beeped on the floor and I winced leaning over.

How are you doing? Missed you at play practice.

To: Kyle

I should be back tomorrow. It's so hard to sleep, I'm always woken up by the pain

I had taken Monday off, I needed one more day before I could handle going to school. That and my car wasn't going to be ready until this afternoon. It was totalled, the entire driver's side was busted beyond repair. It was just easier to get a new car.

From: Katie

Turn on E! right now. RIGHT NOW

I sighed and picked up the remote, of course it would be something about Justin, what else would it be? Couldn't she understand that there was nothing more between us?

"On E! Entertainment Tonight, we have have a special treat! Justin Bieber has allowed us to broadcast live from his concert in Miami, FL." Ryan Seacrest announced. Why does she want me to watch this? The screen changed to Justin sitting on stage explaining the song.

"So earlier today I decided to switch it up a little bit, I'm going to do a song that many of you probably have never heard of, it's called, 'I Can't Live Without You.'" I sat up, intrigued. I had never heard of this song, I wondered if it was new. "I recorded this a little more than a year ago, but it never got released. I hope you like it." Then he picked up his guitar and started to sing.
