63. First date ♥ (Niall Horan)

"Are you ready?" Your mom asks.
You apply a final layer of mascara and nods.

"I still can't believe my daughter is finally going on a date with the boy who she is crushing on for months." She smiled happily.

"I know, I can't  believe it either. Niall is all I ever wanted." You smile.
Niall and you have been friends for years, but since a few months it became a crush. A love interest. 

And suddenly, a week ago, when he was home from tour he called you and asked you out.
Over the phone, but it was so cute. He was stuttering and shy.
Of course you said yes. You had tried to stay calm but being calm isn't in your list of words.

"He's here." Your dad shouts from downstairs.
You let out a scream, and your mom laughs.

"Show that boy what you got." She winks.
You grin and kiss her cheek. Making your way downstairs after.

"Hey there." You say, catching his attention.
His lips form a smile and in his hands he's holding a white rose.

"You look beautiful." He smiles.
He steps a bit closer, kisses your cheek and gives you the rose.

"Thank you." You blush.

"Do you want me to put the rose in a vase and in your room?" My mom sweetly asks.
I nod my head and she winks again. What's with my mom constantly winking?

"Are you ready?" Niall asks.
I put on my coat as a reply. He grins and bids your parents farewell. 

In the car, you and him start a light conversation. You ask about his tour and he about your school. Things are going really smooth and soon you arrive at the restaurant.
"I'm sorry I couldn't come up with a more special idea." He admits cheekily. 

"It's fine, I like it. This restaurant has the best food in town." You grin.
He sighs, obviously happy that you didn't mind.

A waiter leads you to your table and you order your drinks and food.
Niall keeps cracking up different jokes, and they make you laugh so badly. Some people in the restaurant give you weird looks, but you don't mind. You're having the time of your life.

"This is absolutely delicious." Niall says while he's eating his dish.

"Yeah, it's fantastic!" You agree.

After dessert, Niall and you have a little argument about who should pay. But of course he wins.
You get back to the car and he says sorry.

"It's a man's job to pay for the date." He smiles.
You poke his cheek and laugh.

On your way home, you feel like time is going too fast.
You're having such a nice time and within ten minutes it's going to end. And you hate it.

Time flies and Niall parks his car in front of your house.

"Let's make this night even more cliché, let me walk you to the door." He says laughing.

You agree and he walks you to your door.

"I had a really great time Niall, thanks for asking me." You say politely.

"Thank you for actually agreeing to come." He laughs.
He steps closer and pulls you in for a hug. You hug him tightly and smell his perfume.

When he pulls back a bit you see him opening his mouth and closing it again.
"What?" You laugh.

"It's nothing." He shrugs.

"Oh c'mon, tell me!" You smile.
You see him doubting whether he should you or not. You give him a soft nudge.

He smiles and leans in.

Oh.

"I have been wanting to do that for such a long time." He whispers.

"So did I." 

So, I'm starting my exams very soon. And I'm gonna have to study pretty hard. Meaning I won't be online that much, only to read probably. Although I'll try to pre-write a few imagines.

And I still haven't decided my favourite song from Midnight Memories. But I do know, that I love Zayn's high note in You & I.
