CHAPTER T W O

cause she thinks she's made of candy

For some strange reason, Imani had gone in Tobi's car with him and Vik while I was left to go with Simon. Not that I minded but I was attached to my sister's hip and being without her with someone new was a bit nerve wracking for me. I tried not to pay too much attention at the fact it was just us two in the car and instead focused more on how nice it was. Now I didn't know a lot about cars but Simon's seemed really luxurious. "I hope you don't mind coming with me, everyone else drove separately." He said, turning the car on and adjusting his speakers. "Oh I don't mind, you have a cool car so I can't complain." I said with a shrug, trying to bring light to the anxiety I was feeling.

He chuckled but didn't reply, instead handed me his phone that was open to his spotify. "You pick something, you're the guest of honor." He said with a sweet smile. I hesitantly took his phone and scrolled through some of his liked songs picking one that I liked. I tried to carry the conversation and he was nice to talk to, it didn't hit me until we had parked just how attractive he was. But I didn't come here to get a boyfriend. I came here to get away from boys.

The boys took us to a nicer restaurant as a way of saying thank you and welcome to London. I sat down next to Simon and Imani who was in a heated discussion with JJ over some anime. I didn't want to get in the middle so I ordered a drink for myself instead, something I desperately needed. "Oh is it that kind of night?" Ethan asked me while laughing. "You all had me running up and down with that damn ball." I muttered, my lips in an instant pout as I was reminded of how tired I was. "I will say that the idea was JJ's, not mine!" Ethan defended, hands up slightly.

Dinner was great, we all laughed and talked and Harry got embarrassed when Josh asked the waitress for her phone number for him. It was a great night with great people and for the first time since forever I felt comfortable in my own skin. That could've been because of the bit of alcohol in my system but I was enjoying an anxiety free night.

A couple of hours and a few more drinks later and I was at the point of no return. It didn't help being such a lightweight. I was gone after three drinks in me, having six was probably not the best idea. Imani had decided that if I was drinking she shouldn't so while I stumbled outside holding onto whoever it was standing next to me she was worried about getting home. "Why did you have to go and drink so much?" She asked me but I was too into my own world to reply.

"I'll drive you guys home, I don't wanna leave you both here." A voice rang out. I was sat in the back seat of a car, in and out of sleep as the car drove and music played in the background.

I heard voices and when I opened my eyes there was a tall figure standing in front of me, helping me with my seatbelt. I blinked a few times, my vision blurry as their face was close to mine, before I knew what was happening I felt my lips touch theirs.

I woke up the next morning with a pounding headache and an upset stomach. Whatever happened last night with my lightweight self was a total blur. I didn't remember most of the night. Maybe it was a good thing, I was a different person when I had alcohol in me and I could only imagine what I said or did to embarrass myself.

I sat up and groaned when my door flew open. "Now you're awake." Imani said sarcastically. "It's almost past noon." She said as she handed me water and some meds. "Thanks." I said groggily, swallowing the pills. "What happened last night?" I asked. "You don't remember? God we really gotta get your alcohol tolerance up." She said shaking her head. "Nothing really happened. You didn't do anything stupid as far as I know." I watched her get up from my bed and close the door behind her.

I was too hungover to get out of bed but I needed a nice shower and some food, which is exactly what I ended up doing. Taking a break from filming and uploads I had time to myself, to do what I pleased by relaxing and spending time recharging my social battery.

It did not last long.

"Come on Lily let's go." Imani bothered. I was having a good time watching movies in bed when my sister ran into my bedroom asking to go JJ's place to meet up with the boys again. I simply told her I didn't want to and she began to pester me.

"Let's go for a little bit please? I don't wanna go by myself I need you to come with." Imani pleaded, grabbing onto my hand.

"Fine."

That was how I ended up at JJ's place, who was very happy to see us when we finally showed up. We had gotten lost again.

"Well well well, if it isn't the lightweight." Harry said jokingly. I gave him a look as I made my way to sit in the empty seat next to Tobi. "Shut up." I mumbled, leaning back into the couch and sighing. "Still hungover?" Tobi asked me quietly. "You wouldn't believe it." I said with a small smile. Before I could say much else Simon was standing in front of me with a water bottle. "Oh hey." I said as I took the water from him. "Thanks." I said shyly. "Can we talk for a second?" He asked as he looked directly into my eyes.

I felt myself feel butterflies in my stomach where they shouldn't have been but I nodded my head. "Yeah." I said as I followed him out onto the balcony, not before walking past Callux and Ethan giggling at us.

"What's up?" I asked Simon as he shut the door behind us. "About last night.." He began and I groaned softly. "Oh no." I said as I hid my face from him. "Did I say something? I don't remember much from last night but I am sorry if I said or did anything to make you uncomfortable." I blurted out. He looked at me confused before sticking his hands in his pockets. "You don't remember?" He asked me, and this time I was the one who looked confused. "No I don't remember a lot." I said honestly. "Did something happen?" I asked curiously.

He smiled at me and shook his head. "Nothing happened, just wanted to make sure you were okay."
