"Hey, Kimberely. Moving on quick, I see." Jason says as he blocks the homeroom door. I tried to act tough, not to break a sweat. But, trust me, I'm in pain. Well, my heart is in this case.
"I-I can say the same thing about you!" I say puffing out my chest. Jason looks at me and half smiles. I miss that smile.
"Wow , Kimberley, I'm impressed, though, Troye Hunter ? That's an upgrade."
I look down embarrassed, "Again, I can say the same about you."
Athena is perfect. Goddammit !
Jason comes closer and puts both hands on my shoulders. I froze in my place and stared at his hands and back at him, "Jason, I have to go to class."
I can't believe I just said that, straight up. But, Troye told me if anyone of our exes want to talk to us, we have to play hard to get. They'll chase after us.
Jason gives a surprised look as he let's go of my shoulders, "Man , Kimberely, new personality change as well, huh?"
"I-I don't know-"
Jason interrupts me, "It's okay, Troye has you now."
Right when I said that I felt like I wanted to cry. Have he even ever cared for me?
My chest was hurting, because apparently my ex was happy to lose me. As Jason left, I walked into the homeroom hiding my face in the books I was holding. I don't want to be seen any less of myself. I was nothing to him.

Troye grips my hand as we go out of the school, causing my hand to shiver.
"Guess what?" I say as Troye raises up his right eyebrow, "What?"
"Jason tried talking to me today." Right when I said that Troye smirks, "Really?"
"Yea. It was heartbreaking." I said the truth. It's hard for me to even think that Jason would ever still want me.
"Athena hasn't tried talking to me yet-" He says but interrupted.
"HEY, WAIT!" A voice screams behind us. Troye and I turn around seeing Athena and her cheerleading squad come running toward us. I look at Troye, seeing a big grin on his face.
"Nevermind." He whispers in my ear. Once, Athena and her squad finally reaches us, Athena puts out her hand in front of me. I shake her hand as she says, "Hi, I'm Athena AKA the leader of cheerleading!" I cringe, she's kind of annoying. Sorry, Troye.
I put a fake smile, "Hi, I'm Kimberely." Athena then looks at Troye, and as she did, Troye squeezes my hand. Someone's excited.
'Hey, Troye." She says with a straight face. "Is Kimberely here your new girl?" Troye smirks at her, "Sure is."
Well, this is awkward.
"You're dating my boyfriend's ex, you know that right?" Athena says coldly. Her personality changed real quick, wow.
Troye pretends to be clueless, "What ? Kim here, is Jason's ex? Wow, I did not know that." He sounded so fake and sarcastic. But Athena, being the not-so-smart girl she is, fell for it.
"Well, she is", Athena then turns to me, "And you're dating my ex." Troye looks at me, widening his eyes, trying to tell me something. Oh my god, this plan is working.
"Well, I didn't know." I say but Athena then interrupts me, "How did you not know about me and Troye? We are the most popular people in the school." She then lets out a quirky laugh .
