Chapter 9: Preparation

You grab your bag from the hallway and walk into your room. It was really spacious with a big bed, a huge window and a big bathroom. You put your bag next to your bed and since you didn't bring any pyjamas you decided to sleep in the clothes you already had on. You had a red and green tartan shirt on, black skinny jeans and cute black boots on, you loved wearing these kind of clothes. You put your hair in a loose bun and went to sleep.

(7:00am the next day)

You woke up the next day with a smile on your face, you didn't know why, you just felt happy. You got out of bed and had a quick shower and ruffled your hair, you had slightly curly hair and if you brushed it, your hair would be really fluffy besides you liked your hair to look slightly messy, it just looked really nice and cute. You put a little mascara on and did your eyeliner, you did two perfect flicks which made you even happier, you were about to walk out of your room but you saw a piece of paper on the floor. You picked it up and read it, it said

(Y/N),
The battle has come sooner than I thought, Steve has a team and I have mine but I need one more person on mine and I have gone to get him. By the time you read this I am probably on my way there but I promise i will be back soon. JARVIS will tell you anything you want to know about the fight so ask him. The battle might start tomorrow so be prepared, your suit is completely ready to use and I've installed trackers in both of our suits so we can each see where the other person is.

"Ha ha he put a smiley face at the end" you said to yourself as you walked out of your room and to the kitchen
"Hey JARVIS" you shouted
"Hello (Y/N)" he said as the screen lit up in the kitchen
"Do you know where Tony has gone?" You ask him
"I do not (Y/N)" he replied "do you have any other questions?"
"Yeah I do" you said "who is on Team Cap?"
"Steve Rogers, Wanda Maximoff, Bucky Barnes, Scott Lang, Sam Wilson and Clint Barton" JARVIS replied
"And who is on Team Iron Man?" You asked
"Tony Stark, yourself, Natasha Romanoff, James Rhodes, Vision, T'Challa and the other person Tony has gone to get" he answered.
"Ok, thanks so much JARVIS" you said as you walked down the steps to the workroom, you opened to door and got into your suit.
"I wonder if the tracking device works?" You said to yourself as you looked through the helmet
"He's in... Queens!?" You said, surprised "Why is he in Queens? Huh, I'll just leave him to it. Im sure he knows what he's doing"
You walk over to the doors and go outside onto the helipad
"Oh wait, um JARVIS... Are you there?" You say curiously
"Hello (Y/N), I am" he said
"Yesss" you say as you punch the air
"I'm going to practice flying"
You take off the helipad and fly around the house, you then decide to fly around town. You do a few laps of the town then went back to the house
"Whew, that was tiring work" you said as you got out of your suit and walked to the kitchen and grabbed an apple, you ate it and got ready for bed you turned the TV on in your room and lead in bed watching it. As your eyes began to feel heavy you turned off the TV and went to sleep.

(5:25am the next day)

You woke up to the sound of a bump, you huddled further down under your blanket. You heard another bump so you decided to peek outside your door, you saw the shape of a person you quickly closed the door and looked for a weapon which happened to be a baseball bat that Tony found. You grabbed it and silently opened the door, you tip-toed around and behind the intruder, you hit him on the back and he turned around and grabbed the bat out of your hand. Your fighting instincts came into play as you tackled the guy to the ground, just before you got him on the ground you turned on the lights,
"Oh no" you said
It was Tony!
"Sorry, I didn't know" you laughed nervously "welcome home"
"Thanks" he says and you help him up
"At least you got to practice you fighting"
"Yeah well I'm probs going to go back to bed because I'm still very tired" you say yawning
"You can't sorry" he said "just as I feared, the battle is going to start today"
"Ugh great" you said yawning again "did you get that person you were talking about?"
"Yeah I did" he said smiling "I think you will like him"
"Him? Ok then, if you say so" you said
"Well, I'm going to get ready, so see you in a bit"
