- Eeveeutions
If you name your eevee Rainer, Pyro or Sparky you will get vaporion (Rainer), flareion (Pyro) and joltion (Sparky).
- Turn off AR
Catching Pokemon is easier when you turn AR mode off because the Pokemon will not move when you move your phone. Also turning off AR saves a lot of your phones battery life..
- Lucky Egg
When evolving many Pokemon or Pokemon you don't have yet use a lucky egg to double the xp.
- Gyms
Battle your team's gyms to gain xp for that gym. Each Pokemon you defeat will gain xp for that gym. When a gym levels up it has one more spot open for a Pokemon. This will make it harder for your gym to be defeated by people from the other teams.
