It's beginning to rain once again and your adventurous spirit has died out almost completely. You're still trying to be optimistic but your coat isn't providing much shelter and you're all somewhat drenched.

"Ugh, I knew we should've stayed on the Bus," Clyde complains pulling his hood further over his face, "This is the god damn worst,"

"Well it was your idea dumb-ass!" Wendy yells in annoyance. You look nervously towards both Wendy and Clyde who proceed to glare at each other and then exchange glances with Bebe who fretfully looks to you for support.

"Don't start pinning the blame on me, I was only suggesting, you didn't have to go along with it!"

"Shut it Clyde! I swear to God! You're making everyone miserable!"

"I'm making everyone miserable? Last time I checked it's you who everyone gets sick to death of!"

"Whoa Clyde, that's not cool," Stan interrupts and gets faced with a glare so this time you step in.

"Guys please! It's nobody's fault, we can't control the weather and if you haven't noticed we're almost to the top of the mountain; we might be able to get signal from there or at least be able to see the others from higher ground," You try and keep your optimism but Clyde simply sulks.

"And how the hell are we supposed to see anything through the fucking trees!" He tenses in anger and then holds his head in his hands, "Gah! I hate it here, I just wanna go home!"

This time, you don't have anything to say so you shift your eye contact to Bebe again, hoping she catches the signal. Bebe slowly moves next to him and gives his hand a brief squeeze. "It's okay Clyde, I promise, we'll find somewhere for shelter until the rain subsides and then we can keep going, we'll get to the campsite by morning and by then we'll have found everyone along the way," She smiles and Clyde looks hopefully at her.

"Oh my god, you guys, I have one bar!" Wendy looks to her phone in excitement.

"You're right! I do too!" Bebe looks to her phone then frowns, "No wait it's gone,"

"I left mine at home," Stan sighs and looks at Clyde as he pulls out his iphone.

"Yeah the battery is dead on mine," They both sigh and then the group turn to you as you rummage through your pockets trying to find your phone.

"Shit," You look towards Bebe and Wendy. "I think I dropped mine," Bebe puts her phone away as Wendy holds hers in the air trying to find better signal but they both look towards you, concern showing in their eyes.

"It can't be far? Did you leave the sound on? I could try and ring it?" Wendy points out.

"No, it wouldn't have signal anyways, I'll go look for it myself you guys, don't worry," You turn on your heels but Wendy stops you.

"No way, you're not going back for it by yourself," She turns to Stan, "Stan, go with (y/n) and see if you can find it," Stan reluctantly nods and by now the rain is easing off slightly. "Also, take my phone with you, me, Clyde and Bebe will climb to the top of the mountain and see if we can get signal from her phone. Once we do that, we'll text you guys to tell you," It seems like a pretty solid plan.

"What if we get lost?" Stan asks and she looks back towards him.

"If you get lost, shout really loud," He doesn't look convinced, "Okay, okay, I'm kidding, my phone should have GPS, you can screenshot the map and use it to find your way back,"

You nod in agreement and head off to find your missing phone. It's a shame it couldn't have been something less important, like your crappy school field trip guide which has no information about this sort of emergency, but loads of useless facts about the trees.
