Young Royals (Berserk Fanfiction)

(A.N- This doesn't really follow the Eclipse plot thing and is much more lighter than the original series cause the characters need a damn break. Also, I only own my OC, Suri, but nothing else.

The sounds of battle cries echoed in the fields, companied by the loud clangs of metal against metal and screams of horses that toppled down to it's death, bringing it's riders down with them. Arrows flew across the skies, before soaring down and into the flesh of it's intended targets. Blood spilled on the dry and crusted sands as bodies fell, but the soldiers that were putting their lives on the line continued onwards without a single glance at their companion's dead bodies. War seemed to drain everyone out of their thoughts and emotions, because right now, it was kill or be killed.

"Bring me the general's head and you shall be greatly rewarded!" The general of her side yelled, his horse throttling forward.

She stood in the middle of the chaos, her body motionless under her coverage of a red cloak. Her emerald green eye scanned the fortress they were supposed to take down, and with a bit more starring, her feet guided her forward on to the next stage of victory, her cloak gliding behind her ever so slightly. Sand dust smoked her surroundings, making her barely visible as dark smokes passed the clouds close by. The smell of iron burned in her nostrils, but she paid no mind to it, she just needed to fulfill her needed duty and be done with it.

By the time she reached the ends of the dry fields and in front of the gates, the men in the front already broke through, and they charged in without hesitance. She moved quietly and skillfully in the shadows, unseen by the mercenaries that were on her side. She made sure her hood shadowed her upper half of her face, her lips only seen to the world. But her stealth skills wouldn't work forever, a line of guards spotted her small form and charged, foolishly thinking they had the upper hand at this fight. The girl rolled her eyes at their quick judgement at the book's cover, it was those acts that lead them straight to their deaths.

Her feet moved at an astonishing speed, coming off as a red blur to the naked eye, and the edge of her spears blade met with their heads, their bodies falling on their own pool of blood. The people around her backed away with frightened and taken aback looks, but her blood was already pumping with adrenaline. She swung her large black spear around her shoulders, surprising her opponents due to her small and frail-looking figure, and that bought her enough time to strike her weapon into their chests. Blood sprayed out their bodies, but she ignored the mess she made, her only good eye scanning the grounds for a more stronger looking fight. It was the small gasps and murmurs that broke out from a large circle that caught her eye. What could have attracted this much attention during the heat of battle?

"It's Bazuso!" A man exclaimed.

"I heard he took out 30 men at once." Another whispered loud enough for her to hear.

"I heard he fought a bear!"

She scoffed, such rumours never impressed her in the slightest bit. It was time she tested if he lived up to those gossips. The people around her even stopped their battles, all eyes to the large circle in the castle grounds.

"So!?" Bazuso roared with ego and pride. "Who wants to feel my legendary acts!? Come on!"

He was a large man, both horizontally and vertically. His silver armour representing his high rank in battle, the round torso area of his armour struggling to keep his large belly in place as he recklessly swung his axe around for show. His helmet covered everything but his eyes, that darted around each face he could spot in a challenging matter. The general that she worked temporarily for didn't like the sight of his men that cowered away in fear.
