''You don't know, Shakespear could have been a significant individual in the Civil war!''
''Um, I don't think he was..'' A new voice spoke, Liam appearing from next to Mason. I let out a fustrated groan, falling onto my locker hoplessly.
''Why are you both so depressed and dead- we're almost at summer break, both of you need to chill out!'' Mason exclaimed, slapping his hands on his jeans. ''Plus there's a big game tomorrow, you need to lighten up!!''
''Hey, Jen how about I take you, Stiles and Malia out for food?'' My dad walked over, out of his uniform. ''Seriously? Yeah!'' I jumped up, gosh I need a good meal after that horrific test.
''Great! Well I'll just go and get Stiles and Malia.'' He responded, grabbing his keys and wallet off the kitchen table. ''Okay- I'll go grab my jacket.'' I responded following him up the stairs and rushing into my room, snatching a simple grey hoodie to throw over my plain white shirt. My phone and headphones were shoved into my pocket as I stopped outside of Stiles room.
''What about the debt?'' Stiles questioned as I popped my head around the corner, ''debt? What debt?''
''Actually the Eichen house has forgiven our debt because one of their employee's almost killed you and Lydia.'' Dad explained to Stiles. ''We had debt from that?'' I frowned in confusion. ''Why did nobody tell me that?'' I honestly felt like a naive little child. ''That, doesn't matter anymore, for the moment we're out of debt and I would enjoy taking my daughter, son and his girlfriend out to dinner.'' He rested a hand over my shoulder. ''Wha- dad when were we ever in debt?'' My eyebrows furrowed in confusion.
''That..'' He took a breath and looked down to me, ''doesn't matter- anyway, Malia, what's your favorite food?''
I turned to Stiles giving him a 'what the hell' look but he just blinked his eyes and turned away from me.
''Deer!'' Malia perked up causing my to step back and eyes to widen. I couldn't help but chuckle as Stiles cleared it up for her. ''Pizza, she likes pizza.''
The next day.
''Don't look so wary, it's gonna be fine!'' Stiles held my shoulders as I shot a 'really' look up to my brother. ''Stiles, the last time I came to one of these games I was almost strangeled. To death.''
''Well.. If you put it that way- hey look Liam's over there, let's go sit with him.'' My brother pushed me forward over to the bench where I sat between the two boys, Liam's eyes landing on me, making me a little nervous.
''Oh- heyyyy Liam.'' Stiles awkwardly sat down as the young boy was just about to open his mouth to speak when the older Junior cut him off, ''Seriously- why do you look so worried as well?''
''Well.. Scott still isn't here.'' Liam blankly replied, looking around the pitch. ''The real reason..'' I sensed he was lying seeing he avoided eye contact and the way his heart rate slightly altered. Liam turned up to face me, his eyes meeting mine.
''I think it's the full moon..'' Liam stammered as my heart sped up a little, his eyes pooling into mine as I slowly turned up to the moon, breaking the lingering eye contact ''It's not for another 24 hours.'' Stiles replied, ''plus I'm not feeling the effect, so I don't think it's that..'' I softly added on as Liam breathed out.
''I better go and sit with- who's that?'' I scrunched up my nose seeing a older and dark haired girl holding up a poster saying 'Go Liam' with a heart where the dot above the 'i'i should be. ''That's Sydney, why are you jealous-'' Stiles mocked me as I pinched his leg, ''-ow!''
Pushing myself up, I was just about to walk off before spinning around. ''And goodlook to you both.. I guess.'' Okay, yes, I was jealous, but how could I not be. The girl was pretty, tall, in my brothers year and she sure did look happy to be holding that sign..
