Antz: Cutter x Maya

INFO: So I was watching Antz today! And I was reminded of my love for Cutter. And I remembered my OC that I had thought up. I don't know a lot about ants and which ones have wings and which ones don't...i just know that I had my OC, Maya, have wings, but they were shredded and useless for whatever reason! Idk but she's a soldier and General Mandible pretty much raised her, so she's pretty loyal to him, until Cutter shows up and she starts to think about the plans that Mandible had made for the colony, and her and Cutter end up getting together.

So this is actually the last part of the movie, starting from where the general is talking to soldiers. LET'S GET STARTED!

"Gentlemen, there comes a time...in the evolution of a perfect colony...when the strong are meant to rise above the weak," General Mandible stated as he stood in front of the soldiers. Maya stood a bit away from the ant who had raised her, her arms crossed and her deep green eyes cast downward to the ground that was beneath her feet. Her tattered wings fluttered against her back every once in a while, showing her unease.

'This was wrong. We left those workers to die,' Maya thought as she sighed and looked up at the back of the General. 'How could I have been so blind.'

 "Now is that time. Below us right now, the weak elements of the colony...are being washed away," the General went on, giving his brainwashing speech. He had a way of turning the situation in his favor. He could manipulate the mind very easily. It was his gift.

 "Our princess is secured, and our glorious future is at hand. We can all stand proud," Mandible went on, sounding very proud of himself. Even looked proud. But Maya...Maya felt anything but proud. She sighed as she uncrossed her arms and clasped her hands behind her back. She looked over at Cutter, his eyes were down cast, and in them held the same emotion Maya's did.

Shame. They had abandoned the colony. The true colony. The colony that had built their home. The colony they had sentenced to death.

 "It is time for a new beginning," The general brought his 'marvelous' speech to an end, looking highly proud of himself. Maya drew her attention back to him and shook her head. Oh, how she wanted to smack that stupid grin off his face. But she knew she didn't stand a chance against the larger ant. Her shreded wings flared as she began to glare at General Mandible. But then something happened. Something that nobody could have predicted. 

A hand had erupted from under the ground. A shocked expression could be seen on the the General's, Cutter's, and Maya's faces at the sight. The sudden protrusion set off a chain reaction of the crumbling ground to begin to cave in and fall away.  All three high ranking ants scurried backwards quickly, trying to avoid the loose earth. Mandible got away easily, Cutter had almost fallen into the abyss had it not been for his wings, and Maya had quickly turn tail and ran away from the expanding hole, staying well away from the falling earth. The soldiers backed up as well readying their weapons to attack whatever was emerging from the ground.

" What the hell is that?" Mandible exclaimed as he peered down into the hole. Maya and Cutter looked down into the hole as well. 

"Oh my god," Maya gasped out as she spotted the rest of the colony. They had stacked themselves on top of each other to form a ladder to find safety. And on top of them all was the worker ant, Z. She smiled down at the large group of ants. They really were amazing.

"I think that's the weak element, sir," Cutter said with a grin on his own face. He looked at Maya, who looked at him with her smile still on her face, then they looked at Mandible who had a look of disbelief on his face.

"Give me- Give me a hand!" Z exclaimed up at Mandible as he reached up his hand for help. But Mandible wasn't about to help the worker. His expression of Disbelief was replaced with the expression of anger as he realized what was happening.
