Chapter 6
We reached the local park just a few minutes after Dan instructed me that we were going there.
We ran like we where 4 again around the park on the swings and monkey bars.
Finally we sat down, out of breath, under a big, old willow thats leaves were hanging above our faces happily dancing in the wind.
Dan opened to basket and presented me with food.
A bag of maltisers to share, 2 pound bakery sausagrolls, 2 cans of coke and various other amazing food.
"How?" I questioned looking in Dan's eyes.
"Um.. We always talked about a fairy tale picnic and how it needed to happen so I made it happen" he says blushing.
He remembered, I know I remembered but that's because I cared.
Dan cared but I didn't think he cared that much to remembered what type of picnic or to actualy male our 5 year old self's dream.
Flash Back.
"Mom Me and Dan our going to the park," I said excitedly said running through the gate to Dan's front door.
Knock knock
"Hello Y/N" said Mrs Howel opening the large door.
Then a very excited boy in a stripy top and denim jeans came rushing to the door.
"OK good bye Dan, but remember be safe and be back at 5 ok." Said his mother befor closing the door.
Me and Dan skip down the road talking about the latest episode of pocermon and continuing our story.
"Then Caprin Dan comes and Hits the zoelfie-diell in the face" he says running around me.
"Then SuperY/N comes crashing into its tummy and it falls on the ground" I add, punching the air.
"Yay Y/N we save the day again well done."
We reach the park and head strait on the monkey bars.
We swing like chimpanseys and even fly like Captrin and super Y/N would in our imagenation.
"Dan" I said pointing to a large old oak willow tree.
"Ah we could have our very own fairytale picnic" Dan said running towards the tree."But we haven't got any foood" I said wachting Dan's face fall.
"But it would be cool, we could re-tell our story." I re a sure Dan.
"I promise that when were older we'll have a picnic fit for king and queens. Ok" he says, I knodd even though I knew it wasn't lickley to happen.
*present day*
"How did you remember" I ask wachting Dan blush.
"Well... Uh... I know its cheesy but... I remember everyday I spend with you."
"Same here." I said.
"Do you remember captain Dan and Super Y/N" he says.
We burst out laughing as the memory's of our two made up super hero's fill our minds.
"We were strange kids, especilly you" said Dan digging his hands into my side.
"I was, what were you like then, i can go home and ask your mother."
"Ok we were both wierd, but mainly you" he says with a glint in his eye.
"Hay" U say thumping him in the stomach.
"Well that's why I love you!"
