We were landing on the helicopter pad on top of their base, which was a large rectangular five-story modernized building. Once we landed, the circular helicopter pad let out a buzzing noise before it began to descend downwards, taking us into the building. A heavy sigh left my lips as I unbuckled my belt, running a gloved hand through my curls before I exited the aircraft along with the others.
We were escorted to a large conference room by two people, dressed in all blue, just like how The Organization's rule was to dress in all black. The woman and the man whom escorted has had a symbol engraved into the side of their neck, the symbol that stood for their agency, the Obsidian Order. A sigh left my lips as I laid my hand on the hilt of my gun in my holster, hoping this deal of becoming allies would work.

"I'm glad you could make it tonight Vlad," Amanda, a pale blonde woman with the most intimidating steely gray eyes smiled tightly at him.
He sat in front of the woman, while the rest of us stood behind him, seeming slightly more tense than usual. It was rare of assassin agencies to make alliances together, but Ford stressed on it that at a time like this, we needed all the help we could get. There were young people in The Organization, children even, forced into training by their assassin parents. We couldn't let Omega attack us like that and wipe every out as if we were just worthless and deemed as a threat.
"However, I was hoping it was Ford I'd get to see and not you," she said bluntly, pursing her rouge lips as she laced her fingers together.
"Ford is unfortunately at our other base in England. He sent me as a representative," Vlad spoke in his gruff voice, relaxing back in his chair as Amanda scowled slightly.
"And your team? Why did they have to come?" she questioned quite suspiciously making me frown at her inquiring.
"We travel as a team. If you're meeting one of us, you're meeting all of us," I spoke up without hesitation, watching her drop her suspicions and smile eerily.
"Apologies, I didn't meant to sound paranoid," she expressed her regret, confirming my thoughts about her. "Let's get to it shall we? Now you have obviously heard about Omega and the threat they pose to us."
"My boss, Simon, is suggesting that we join in an alliance against Omega. That means when Omega strikes us, you will come to our aid, and vice versa. We've got technology far more advanced that yours, and you've got more people, trained for combat and etc. Do you see where I'm going here?" she continued to talk, waving her hands around with numerous hand gestures as I found myself getting bored.
She continued trying to win us over and agree to the alliance, pulling out videos and clips of their latest technology used for protection, weapons and many more things. My mind began to zone out as she carried on talking, and talking, and talking...
"Harry?" Jade whispered, making me snap out of my thoughts.
"What?"
"Do you hear that?" she mumbled anxiously, blue eyes searching for mine.
"Hear what?" I scowled, eyes flickering to Amanda who was yapping away.
"Listen! It's a weird buzzing noise," she shushed me, pale blue eyes moving around, darting to every corner.
I listened carefully, trying to tune out Amanda's high-pitched voice as I perked my ears. Then I heard it. It was a buzzing noise, like Jade had said. My eyes flickered up to the air vent, locating the noise, before they widened when I saw white smoke swirling through the bars and entering the room.
"Vlad!" I spoke out loud, interrupting whatever Amanda was yakking about. They're heads snapped towards me and I quickly pointed the air vent, taking in a deep breath to hold in while the white gas spread quickly.
