(Riley is dreaming)

Lauren gets out the car and opens Riley's door

Lauren: Get out *forces Riley out of the car and takes Auggie from her*

Riley: I want my brother

Lauren: You'll get your brother...maybe

They walk into the house

Lauren: Now go to your room. If you're good I may feed you

Riley: Where is my room?

Lauren: Oh come on *yanks Riley by the arm and forces her down the hall and throws her into her bedroom and locks the door*

Riley: *crawls in a corner and burst out crying* What did I ever do to you?

Lauren: Now for you August

Auggie: *lips begin to quiver and bursts out crying*

Lauren: You guys are cry babies *sets Auggie down and begins beating his butt* Shut Up stop crying.

Auggie: *screaming and crying*

Riley: *listening and banging against her door* LEAVE HIM ALONE. STOP IT. HE'S ONLY A BABY. GIVE HIM TO ME

Auggie: *still screaming and crying*

Lauren: OK you won't stop *throws Auggie into Riley's room* You both starve for the entire day *slams the door and locks it*

Auggie: *crying*

Riley runs up to Auggie and picks him up and begins rocking him

Riley: I'm so sorry Auggie. Mommy and Daddy are going to find us I promise. I'll take all of your beatings OK. I'm so sorry *burst out crying*
