The ship moved onward.

Lady Elspeth glided out of her bed.

The sound of voices disturbed her thoughts.

"She mustn't know; she must be in her chambers", the Lord stared at a young woman. She was a Lady who spoke in a Welsh accent.

"She doesn't know about us...".

"Us? There was a plan to wed five years' ago. Yet, you broke it off".

"That wasn't my fault; that was Mother's fault".

"Nay; nay, your fault".

"Quiet, let's go to my chambers".

And she watched the Lord and the mysterious Lady head to his chambers...And close the door...just as Lady Elspeth begun to cry.
