Lady Elspeth slept soundly.
Images of the Lord filled her mind.
The handsome face; the sudden kiss; the frenetic passion...Nay, there was no passion-yet. It was a young woman's dream; a dream that was now blossoming on board the ship that was now mid-way from Ireland to England.
