Chapter 20

Vs. Yamabuki

Ryuki Pov:

                      We're having a break before the match. Ryoma and I were resting under some tree. He's drinking ponta while leaning his back on the tree with his arm being a pillow. While I, was trying to sleep peacefully my back facing ryoma and my left arm as my pillow. When someone stumbled upon my feet landed beside ryoma.

           "Ah ! Wha-whats happening ? I can't see ! Im blind !" He said panicking. I  sweatdrop at the kid.

           "Your bandana fall. I'll just buy a drink." I said before getting up and walk out. Can't sleep so might as well buy a drink.

           I was walking to find some vending machine when a familiar figure was standing behind some bushes peeping on somewhere. I look a head. Its obaasan with.. Who is that oldman ? I thought. I walk towards the familiar man in black kimono.

           "Oi !" I called. The man startled.

           "I-Im not doing anything ! Im inno-- huh ? Ryuki ! My daughter !" He shouted happily. I rolled my eyes.

           "Im not ryuki." I said coldly before going off.

           "Oi ! Where are you going ?" He asked.

           "The match..." I said bluntly then starting to walk. "I don't want anyone to see me with some creepy man like you." I added. I heard him shouted but Im already far. Oyaji ! He's really fun to tease. I wonder why he's here ?

           After buying a drink, a went off to look for ryoma. We need to get back the match was about to start.

"Ryoma ? Ikou. Its time !" I called him. The kidbeside him and the same kid who stumbled on my feet looked shock. I wonder why ?

"Well, I'll get going." Ryoma said as he stood up. He wore his jacket then turned to look at the kid. "So tennis is something you played with just height, huh ? I see." He said smirking.

           Our doubles 2, kawamura/fuji pair lost against yamabuki doubles 2. So our next game would be our golden pairs. I saw oishi looks troubled. He's too tense. Plus our opponent looks like someone he knew.

           "Oishi.. Tense up only after I get tired, okay?" Eiji said.

Oishi somehow calmdown. "Alright ! Lets play like usual." Oishi said.

"Ofcourse !" Eiji replied.

     "Doubles 1 match. Yamabuki chuu's Minami/higashita pair vs. Seigaku's Oishi/Kikumaru pair. Begin !." The referee announced.

The match started. The opposing doubles kept on targeting our oishi. All their shots were concentrated on oishi. Then eiji decided to step in but oishi stopped him.

           "Don't move eiji !" Oishi shouted when eiji is trying to help him.

           Everyone were shock. Oishi is trying to play as calm as he could. Its seems like whatever happened in the past is something that he hadn't want to happen again. The opponent hit a drop. Oishi countered it with moon volley making the point on seigaku. But the point was gotten back when the opponent did a poach. Until they got the three match.

"Oishi ! Where does the teddy bear fall ?" Eiji ask suddenly. Everyone is surprise. But its not use to lured the opponents. Oishi hit on the left. Then the opponent team plans to out think us. They hit a short straight when eiji anticipate a poach. When they all expected to win, eiji did an acrobatic play leaving them startled.
