"Don't leave yet." He stopped me.
"Appa,please..I'm tired..can you let me go and rest in my room now?We can continue this conversation tomorrow." I said turning my head to him.
"Okay,sure..dear.Good night." He responded.Before I leave,I think I want to hear his answer for this.
"Appa?" He looked at me.
"Why do you dispise Jungkook so much?Why can't you accept the fact that I love him?" I questioned him.He was about to answer but I cut him off.
"Save the answer for tomorrow,appa.I want to hear your honest thoughts about it.Good night." I left him and entered my room.I sighed and sat on the edge of my bed.I wonder what's his answer will be..
THE NEXT DAY..
I woke up due to the sound of the heavy rain outside.Ah..this weather makes me want to only just sleep on my bed with my blanket over me.
"Soyeon.." I heard my brother's voice coming inside my room.It's been a while since we last talk.He's been busy with his wedding preparations and also work while me,always went home late because of life stress..ha..
"Oppa." I replied and popped my head up to see him sitting on the edge of my bed.
"Wake up,little sister." He said.
"Well,I'm up..I just want to lie down." I sat up and looked at the clock.It was still 6 am..too early to wake up at this time.
"How was school?" He asked as he sat down at the edge of my bed.
"School was as usual..fine.." I simply answered.He nodded with a smile.
"Why are you suddenly asking me about school?" I asked him curiously.
"Nothing..just wanna know how's my dongsaeng doing when I'm busy." He shrugged.
"Oh..oppa,how's your wedding preparations?" I questioned him back.
"Everything is going on smoothly..just in a few more weeks Haneul will finally be my wife..and..how's your relationship?" He looked at me with concern.
"Oh..when I come to think of it..it's really..sad..Jungkook..well..he knew about the marriage..he let me agree with the plan because he didn't want appa to look at him as a bad guy.He gets hurt a lot..he feels sad a lot..I don't want him to keep on feeling that way." I told him.
"Soyeon-ah,this is the roller coaster of love life..it goes up and down..sometimes you'll feel happy and also sometimes you'll feel sad.The two of you just have to go through this with full of patience and trust each other.At the end,you'll have your true happiness..that's when you think everything that you went through together was worth it,okay?" He patted my back with a smile on his face.I was really touched by his words and I hugged him as tight as I can.
"Thank you,oppa.For always being by my side whenever I'm in trouble or having a hard time even in good times..thank you very much..I'm grateful for having you as my brother." I said still hugging him.
"Soyeon-ah,you're my only little sister that I have and it's my job to protect you and love you at all times no matter what.I'm also grateful to have you as my dongsaeng..my beautiful little dongsaeng." He ruffled my hair and we laughed together.We talked until it was already 6.30 am so,he asked me to get ready for school and he will send me to school.I got ready and went downstairs for breakfast.
"Good morning." I greeted my parents and brother.
"Good morning,Soyeon.Did you sleep well?" Appa responded.
"Yes..I slept well.." I answered,baffled that my dad was suddenly becoming nice to me.
"Soyeon,I cooked your favourite Shepard's pie for you." Omma cut a slice of Shepard's pie for me.
"Thank you..it looks really delicious,omma." I said as I took a bite.Indeed,it was really delicious.After breakfast,we had some chit chat which I think it has been so long since we had a family talk.It made me feel happy because we get to talk to each other unlike before..always full of drama.Hopefully,after this it would always be like this and no more drama.
"Appa,omma..I'll leave now." I stood up and Jin also stood up with his car keys in hand.I hugged my parents after that, put on my shoes then went out.
"What time are you going home?" Oppa asked.
"1 pm..why?" I asked Jin.
"Alright,I'll fetch you today then you'll follow Haneul and I to check on our wedding venue,is that okay?" He asked and I gladly answered a Yes.I went out after he stopped in front of my school gate.I was on my way to class when one of my classmate told me to follow her.She looked like she was in a hurry.I followed her to the school's notice board where there were a crowd of students gathering.
"What's happening here?" I asked to nobody.Then,my classmate just now pulled my hand.The rest of the students also looked at me and I frowned because I'm totally confused as to what's going on.
"Soyeon,this." She pointed to the notice board.
"Kim Soyeon,daughter of the CEO of K company will be marrying Daniel Lee son of the founder of Korea's Orphanage Home.."
What the hell?How did this got spread?!
