Chapter: 39

DAMON P.O.V.

I walked over to the door and slowly opened it to reveal, Alaric standing there with a black duffel bag.

''What the hell are you doing here?'' I said in surprise

''He called me'' Alaric said pointing at Elijah

''Why?'' I asked Elijah

''Because, there seems to be conflict between Jeremy and Kol , and its in our best interest to keep them separate from each other, so Jeremy and Matt will depart back to Mystic Falls.'' Elijah said

''No, I'm not leaving'' Jeremy quickly said

''Yes you are'' Kol angrily said

''You want me gone because you know deep inside Iris loves me too'' Jeremy blurted out angrily

Kol quickly grabbed him by the throat and began to choke him, Klaus grabbed Kol by the collar of his shirt and pulled him away from Jeremy.

''ENOUGH!!! Jeremy your leaving now'' Elena said

''Your also departing with them too'' Stefan said

''I'm not gonna leave'' Elena said

''Yes you are'' I said

''But...'' Elena began

''No buts, you can get hurt'' Caroline added

''Fine, Jeremy and Matt get your things'' Elena instructed

A few minutes passed and I watch as Elena, Jeremy and Matt drive away from the old house and going back to Mystic Falls. I felt a bit relieved, I didn't want her getting hurt, especially now that Angelus knows our weaknesses.

''Now what?'' I said as I sat on the couch with the others

''We find out what Angelus wants, and we only have 3 days to do it before the full moon''  Kol said

''We are screwed'' I said

''Were not screwed, Damon'' Stefan said

''Yes we are, Angelus knows more about us then we know about him, let's just go back to Mystic Falls and...'' I said but was cut off by Rebekah

''And do what, hide like cowards, Angelus will not stop coming he will find us and kill all of us'' Rebekah said

''Do you have a plan?'' I asked

''No, but one thing's for sure that we have to fight him, yes, he got inside our heads but it doesn't matter because we have her'' Rebekah said

''And? what then?'' I said

''At least I'm trying, unlike you'' Rebekah said

''I am trying, but so far we haven't had progress'' I said angrily

''Damon and Rebekah just stop'' Elijah said

IRIS P.O.V.

I looked at everyone and they seem to be arguing about almost everything, Elijah tried to keep them from fighting but it was no use.

''Fighting amongst each other, is exactly what we want'' Angelus's voice whispered in my mind

''Now what?'' I asked

''Now we strike'' Angelus whispered

''I won't fail you'' I said

''Good, now go'' Angelus whispered

I quickly walked over to Caroline, who was looking at everyone argue, she looked at me with concern filling her eyes.

''Are you okay?'' she asked

I didn't answer, I quickly bit her on the neck and she screamed in pain, I feel hands on me and I let her go. Stefan and Damon grabbed me by the wrists, while the rest gathered around Caroline, I watched as Klaus gave her some of his blood to cure the bite, but it was no use.

''What have you done?'' Rebekah asked

I smiled as Caroline laid there dying

''The injection'' Klaus said

''What about it?"' Tyler asks

''It enables me to cure the bite, Caroline needs help and she must get it from Angelus'' Klaus said
