I watch
horrified
as tears stream
down her too-thin face
creating cracks
in her perfect exterior
What is happening to her?
Something stirs
down in my stomach
Perhaps
she could visit this counselor
for a couple of sessions
to get fixed
Maybe she is hurting
more than I thought
But not so much
not as much
as this counselor
seems to think
she would have told me
We are family
She will be
fine
Right?
