I get into my car but I don’t know where I where I want to go.. Home? No. I decide to dial Scar and see if she wants to meet up at a shop in town.
The phone feels like it has been ringing forever.. I don’t know why I’ve been so inpatient lately.
“ Hey good lookin whats up!” Scar says when she answers the phone
“ Hey pretty ladaaay! I was just calling to see if you want to meet up at the shops in town? I don’t feel like going home and I could use a best friend day! “ I say
“ YES! IM ON MY WAY !!! “ she screeches and nearly makes me deaf in my ear
“ Haha! Okay I’ll see you in fifteen minutes?” I ask
“ Can’t wait! Bye love!” She hangs up
I decided to text my mum and let her know that I won’t be home for a while that I’m at the shops in town.. She normally freaks if I don’t tell her where I am.. I’m 19 but whatever.
I pull in to a parking spot to see Scarlett is already standing there bopping around being Scarlett. I can’t help but laugh.
“ RO! “ she screams and runs over to me
“ Hush hush!!” I hug her back! “ I just saw you a few hours ago! “ I laugh!
“ I know but I missed you!” She laughs
“ I worry about you” I smile and we both laugh again.
We walk around to the shops to see if any sales were going on. We walk over to one of the cute vintage shops.
“ Oh Scar do you like this? “ I hold up a navy blue lace dress. Its not too short but not long either, about mid-thigh with long sleeves laced.
“ Rose, That would look beautiful on you! Try it on!” Scar tells me
“ I will!, You must find something too!” I help her search for a dress as well to try on.
“How about this? “ I hold up a yellow lace vintage dress that has bell sleeves on it.
“ It would look beautiful on you and with a brown belt to top it off with” I say to her
“ How do you do it?” she looks at me
“ I’m sorry what?” confused
“ you always pick out the most amazing outfits! You always look beautiful!” She says
“ So do you! Don’t even start with me!” I laugh and hand her the dress
We walk over to the dressing rooms and try the dresses on.
“ How do you think the boys are doing? “ Scar asks
“ Well last time I heard they were doing great!” I answer happily.
The last time the boys came to town was amazing, They are always fun to be around but I think Scar and Niall really hit it off.. I don’t know much of what’s going on there if they are just friends or more.. But I’ll leave it alone until she says something to me about it.
“ Can I ask you something?” she asks
“ of course! “ as I walk out of the dressing room she opens the door
She gasps. “ YOU LOOK AMAZING! “ she says
“ thank you! You look amazing as well!” I say and she smiles and does a twirl. Such a girl. I laugh.
“ Anyway.. My question.. How are Louis fans to you? Like is it still hard?” she asks.
“ To be honest? I don’t pay too much attention to it.. There’s always going to be people who don’t like me.. But most of his fans are really cool and tweet to me. I don’t know why I’m not cool haha, but yeah it’s gotten a lot better” I smile
“ That’s good! I’m happy to hear, That’s what gets me nervous wit-.” She stops in mid sentence
I smirk. I knew it. I decided to leave it alone and change the subject
“ Should we get these??” I ask
“ Of course!” She smiles. I think she is relieved I left it alone.
We go up and pay for our dresses and head out of the shop its around 5:30
“ Well I guess I better get going. You know how my mum gets” she says and rolls her eyes
“ same! I’ll see you tomorrow though! Wear our dresses?” I smile
“ Of course!, Bye babycakes! See you tomorrow!” She says
“ Bye love!” I smile and get into my car.
I don’t live far from town so its not to bad of a drive. I pull up into my driveway to see a random car that I’ve never seen before there.
Ugh my mum probably has one of her friends over or something. Great. Fucking great.
I drag myself into the house and throw my book bag by the door and take my boots off.
“ Hello? Where is everyone?” I yell through the house
“In the den babe!” I hear a voice
Babe? Who the hell is calling me babe? I walk through the kitchen and grab a water bottle and head to the den.
“ Someone is waiting for you in the den. “ My mum smiles.. I instantly get creeped out.
“ why are you grinning like you just killed someone mum?”
her smirk goes off her face
“ Sorry! Love you” I say to her. She smiles
“ I love you too! Now go! “ She hits my bum
The hell?
I look back and she’s gone..
I walk into the den to see a woman with dark hair sitting there drinking tea.
“ Johannah!?” I squeal! I haven’t seen Louis mum in ages. “ what on earth are you doing here? Is everything okay? “ I began to worry as I hug her.
“ Everything’s fine babe! I just came to see you and see how you were!” she smiled and I sat down next to her.
“ Everything’s been pretty good! I just miss him ya know? But I’m proud of him and that’s all that matters” I tell her.
“ I completely understand that! “ She looked at me. I can tell something’s up but she’s keeping it from me.
“ Are you sure everything’s okay?” I ask
“ Yes love! I just miss my boy so I decided to come see his beautiful girl” she smiled
“ I meant to come over last weekend but school has got me going crazy, But I promise I’ll stop by soon to say hi to everyone!” I tell her
“ Aw! It’s okay! We understand about the school! But this coming up weekend we have a family dinner everyone will be there and we would love it if you would join us! I know it may be weird since Lou isn’t there but think about it” She says
I nod, “ No no it won’t be awkward I would love to come! I miss the girls and I would love to see everyone!” I smile
“ Great! Everyone is coming over at 6 but if you would like to come over early and hang out with the girls or whatever you can come over anytime. “ Joannah says
“ I cannot wait!” I smile
“ Me either darling, Well I better head on home!” She stands up
I stand up as well.
“ You have no idea how much it means to see you! I’m sorry I haven’t been over.. I know texting doesn’t count but thank you “ I smile
“ No problem darling you know I’m always here for you!” She smiles and I walk her out to the door.
“ Have a good night Joannah!” I smile and wave
“ Bye Rose! See you this weekend “ She smiles and drives off.
[ Okay.. I’m sorry this chapter kinda blows.. I had horrible writers block today and I’m actually pretty ticked off about it to be honest. But Next chapter will be good! LET ME KNOW WHAT YOU THINK !!! :D ]
