I was still shocked that Jax was pregnant with not one but two babies. It was crazy to think that on our first time he got pregnant and I couldn't be happier to know that he's carrying my pups. He was already 4 months along and it has been extremely hectic with three children all wanting attention from the two of us specially Victoria who had taken the news of being a big sister a bit harder than the boys had since she's been the center of attention for months and now she's become very attached to us and has gone as far as to say that she hates that she's going to be a big sister. Jax and I have tried to get all three kids used to the idea that they'll be sharing their affection with two other children and Jax has been stressed because of Victoria's indifference towards the twins. According to the royal doctor, the twins were conceived June 28th just 10 days after we mated which means that the twins will be due sometime next year. Sighing, I shook my head and tuned back into what Madison and Jax were talking about

"-I think that we should have it here" Madison was saying and both my mate and Xavier nodded to whatever it was that Madison was saying and I raised a brow

"What are you three talking about?" i asked and all three turned to me with Jax narrowing his eyes

"Weren't you listening?" he asked and I rolled my eyes

"If I had I wouldn't have asked" I replied with a huff

"You spaced out again" he stated with frown making me sigh, I've been doing that a lot lately and I knew that it was worrying Jax but I didn't know what else to do. This was all new to me unlike him who already knows what to expect, okay that was a low blow but can you blame me? He already experience the whole raising a child unlike me, yes I've seen Xavier's kids grow but it's different now that it's me who is going to be raising, not one, but 5 children,three that aren't mine, it's a lot to take in.

"Sorry" I muttered and he furrowed his brows

"Are you alright?" he asked and i nodded ignoring Xavier and Madison who both looked concerned

"This isn't the first time you've done this" Jax stated and I rolled my eyes

"I said I was fine, Jaxon" I snapped and he blinked before nodding and looking away which made me curse inwardly

"I'm sorry" I murmured and he nodded

"I'm going to go check on the kids" he quickly said and was gone before we could say anything

"You're scared" Xavier said making me look up at him with a glare

"No" I said and he rolled his eyes while Madison excuse herself claiming she was going to check on the kids as well though I had a feeling she just wanted to leave her mate and brother-in-law alone to talk

"Stop lying to yourself, Maximilian" my brother said earning a glare from me but he returned it ten fold making me look away.

"You can lie to Jax all you want but you can't fool me, Max. I'm your brother and I know you better than anyone. I know that you're afraid that you won't be a good enough parent to the kids but have you seen yourself? You are by far one of the greatest parents I've ever seen. You took over the role of a father and have provided not just to Jax but his children as well. You didn't have to take the role of a father to them yet you did and they love you and look up to you. Just because you feel like you're not ready to a parent doesn't mean that you can't be one. Have you ever stopped and think how Jax feels? You snapped at him for good reason other than him trying to make sure that you were alright. He feels stressed as it is with a 4 year old not wanting to share her mother and father with her new siblings. James was just like Victoria when his mother was pregnant with Rachel. He hated the thought of having to share his parents with some one else and that stressed not me but their mother too. I hadn't been ready to be a father but when Alana came to me and said she was pregnant I was scared.
