Uncle Ricker asked me to go to the castle to speak with King Jeremy and ask him if he would wish to join us for the handing down of the Alpha title to Christopher, his oldest son. So I agreed and I decided to take the pups with me. I wanted them to experience life outside of the pack. We got in my car all three kids in their car seats and Andy sat beside me.

"How long is the drive to Lanchester Castle?" Andy asked as I pulled out of the pack driveway

"Half an hour at most" I replied and he nodded

"Mama put music on please?" Jackson asked and I nodded turning the radio on and Lukas Graham's '7 years' was playing making the pups cheer. This was one of their favorite songs.The ride was silent minus the radio playing in the background and the kids bickering in the backseat.

"How are you and Elena?" I asked half way to the castle

"Good, planning on proposing to her soon" he replied and I raised a brow

"I would ahve figured you already popped the question. You've been dating for 4 years and yet you are just thinking of asking her now?" I asked with a chuckle making him roll his eyes

"Yes, I want it to be special and if I had asked her sooner it wouldn't have been a good idea. We wanted to wait until we were both out of school" he answered

"Well you are nearly done with school so i guess you have a point. But you won't be alpha for another ten years when Christopher decides to hand down the alpha to you" I responded

"I much rather be his second in command then be alpha" he retorted and i rolled my eyes

"Have you figured out how you will ask her?" I asked and he nodded

"I was thinking of taking her out to a fancy restaurant, have dinner, then go out to the cinema watch the movie she's been begging to watch before ending the night with a walk on the beach where I'll ask her" he replied

"That's a good, I'm sure she'll say yes, I mean you're mates" I stated

"True" he nodded and before I said anything, we were pulling up to a very long driveway that led to the most beautiful and extravagant castles I've ever seen. It was in the middle of a huge pond with a diamond shape dirt path that led to the front entrance of the castle. I parked the park and turned the radio off once we were arrived before getting out and getting the kids out with Andy following behind. There were tall cone trees on each side with two small towers with guards protecting the entrance. they were quick to surround us with swords pulled on each of us scaring the pups

"Who are you and what is your business here?" One of them said and we bowed our heads a show of respect even though i could see it was hard for Andy to do so since he was an alpha's son. He bowed to no one that wasn't the Alpha and his wife or the King and his sons.

"My name is Jaxon Miccheals and this is Andrew Carter, we came to speak with King Jeremy on behalf of our Alpha" I said making them lower their swords and look at each other before nodding

"Follow me" the other said holding a hand out towards the steps that led to the entrance before walking in that direction

"They are mean mama" Shane whispered as he and Jackson held onto my shirt and Victoria buried her face in my neck

"I know but they were just doing their jobs" I said as we followed behind the guard who held the door open letting us enter.

"This way" he said walking in the direction I assumed was the family room but instead he led us up a set of stairs and down the hall, as we followed, I smelt my mate from one of the rooms as well as another scent making me frown, but I couldn't dwell on it as I had other matters to attend. Once we entered the room, I gasped nearly dropping Victoria but luckily Andy grabbed her before she did and held my head as an image of my mate in bed with another male flashed through my eyes making me blink. I shook my head to clear the image but it kept happening, they were moaning and groaning as they fucked making my heart ache.
