*Chicago, 2010*

Caroline's POV

It was my turn to drive and even tho I knew Nik wanted to focus on the hybrids, even if he had already 15 hybrids, I decided to go a place where he didn't asked to go but I knew he missed it, and that place was Chicago.

When we finally got to Chicago, I put the car in a place where we could see a little of the view.

"Nik, it's time to wake up..." I whispered to his ear and kiss his cheek, with his eyes closed he kissed me and I kissed him back because, even if we just kissed since Kentucky, it was amazing.

"We are not in Mississippi." I told him.

"What?" He asked confused because we had plan to go there and when he saw what was in front of him, he smirked. "You're the best."

"I know." I said with a smile and then I took him to Gloria's, because Gloria made a spell to not age as quickly as a human does.

When we got to Gloria's we saw that change a few things but was practically the same.

We ordered some drinks and danced a lot, just like we used to in the 20's.

"It's good to relived the good old times." I said and he smirked.

"Yes, I missed those times. It was all simpler." He said and I nodded while we went to the booth with out drinks. "Thank you for bringing me here. I guess I needed a little break of making hybrids."

"No problem." I said and he started to caress my cheek.

"I'm really glad to have you in my life." He said and I kissed him.

We are just friends but there times we act more like if we are dating, at first we used to be awkward but now it's usual to happen when we are alone.

We were making out and he was now traveling his lips to my neck, making me moan and I felt his smirk in my neck.

I took his hand and speed us to our motel, I just wanted to be alone with him and feel him. I pushed him against the wall and kissed him with lust, he put his hands on my tights, makings my legs be around his waist and I suddenly felt some impact when he pushed me against the wall, which made me moan.

He let me down, so he could take my dress and I took his t-shirt and pushed him against the bed, I got on top of him and kissed him again.

My phone started to ring and just like that we stopped our hot making out session and I picked the phone.

"Hello?"

"Hey, it's Rebekah."

"Oh, hi! What's up?" I asked trying to seem the most normal as possible so she wouldn't get suspicious about what happened between me and her brother.

"Well, it's almost Christmas and we wanted to be all in family so I was calling to see if Nik was still wanting more hybrids or if we could do a nice family dinner in Christmas." She said and I looked at Nik who nodded.

"He is okay now with the hybrids that he got."

"Great. So you guys came as fast as we can do we could start to prepare things for Christmas. I'm so excited! We are finally going to seem like a nice and normal family!" She said all excited.

"Yes. We are going on our way. Don't worry." I said.

"Awesome. Love you. Bye"

"Love you too. Bye." I said and hung up, then I looked at Nik and said. "We better get going."

We got dressed and before I could opened the door, Nik speed over to me and kissed me passionately.

"This is something to remember this trip by." He said with a smirk and I kissed him again.

"You know that this should happen, right?" I said almost in a whisper when I broke the kiss.

"I know. But I don't regret it."

"Neither do I." I said making him smirk and we kissed again.

Maybe one day I will be able to tell him how I feel about him.
