Rwbys - A Rose and a Starling

The First Step part 2

3rd person pov

It was a beautiful day, and above the Emerald forest, a little black bird was lazily flying along.  Right up till the moment it gave a final shriek, and a red and silver crashed through it in a burst of feathers as they plummeted downward.

Starling's pov

Ruby and I were approaching the ground fast, I noticed a little black bird in flying in front of us and tried to warn Ruby before we hit it, "Ruby watch out for th-" I cried out, just as we hit the bird.

"Birdie, no!" Ruby cried in horror as we hit the bird and kept falling, I had to bite the inside of my cheek to keep from laughing and saying 'That birdie never saw it coming!" But kept my mouth shut so I wouldn't bite my tongue off.

Ruby fired off a few shots from Crescent Rose to slow her down, while I pulled out Umbra and Spero in its pistol form to slow me down. Ruby turned Crescent Rose into its scythe form to catch the branch of a tree in her blade. I turned Umbra and Spero into my twin katana's, stabbing them into the top of a tree trunk near Ruby and spun down in a spiral.

3rd person pov

Weiss, armed with her weapon named Myrtenaster, summoned a white snowflake circle underneath her and leapt of it into the forest below. 

Ren descended and spun in the air, eventually using his weapons blades named StormFlower, to spiral around the trunk of a large tree, and hit the ground, brushing off his clothes and looking up to see.

"Woo-hoo! Yeah! Alley-oop!" Yang cheered and hollered as she flew threw the air. Yang, soaring over the treetops, was using her gauntlets which was named Ember Celica and their fiery force to push her through the air. Further and further north, spinning and laughing with each blast.

"Whoa, whoa, whoa!" She said dizzily, yet still happily as she crashed through leaves of a treetop and leapt off two tree trunks to tumble to the ground. "Nailed it!" She announced running off.

Pyrrha, Miló in sword form and armed with a shield, crashed through several trees and barrel rolled onto a branch. Immediately shifting her blade into a rifle and looking through the scope. Spotting Jaune as he continued to scream and fall helplessly through the air.

Pyrrha quickly transformed Miló into a spear once more, took a moment to evaluate her throw, and rocketed the javelin deep into the forest until a 'THUNK' was heard. "Thank you!" Jaune called out in the distance, "I'm sorry!" Pyrrha apologized waving.

Starling's pov

Ruby and I landed on the ground in a crouch then instantly took off running with one thing on our minds gotta find Yang, "Yang!" Ruby called. "Yaaaang!" I called. We continued running in silence and I knew what Ruby was thinking about.

'It is a possibility we may not find her so who else do we know, we know Blake she's quiet and mysterious though she might get annoyed with us talking. We know Jaune he's nice, he's funny, but I don't think he'd do very well in a fight no offense to him. Let's see we also know...Weiss, no, definitely not I can't stand her and the way she treats people especially Ruby, I just hope we don't find her.' I thought.

We continued running when Ruby suddenly skidded to a stop, making me skid to a stop as well at the unexpected action, to keep from barreling into her. I looked up and saw Weiss who turned to face us, there was a pregnant pause as she met our eyes. 'Just our luck speak of the devil and he/she shall appear.'
