"Hey, Juni?" Sebastian knocked gently on her bedroom door. He could hear soft cries from the other side of the door so he let himself in.

"Can I please be alone?" She asked, her voice muffled by the pillow she had her face pressed into.

"It's Christmas, you can't be alone on Christmas," he said with a slight smile, sitting down next to her and rubbing her shoulder. "It's okay to be sad."

She sat up and rubbed her eyes. Her cheeks and nose were red, he wasn't sure if it was from the cold or the crying. "I know it's okay to be sad, but it doesn't do anything to help." She crawled to him and placed her head on his shoulder. He put his arms around her.

"It'll be okay," he murmured, pulling her close to him and hugging her tightly.

"I know," she replied. "I got you a present." She reached over to her bedside cabinet to hand him the decorated box.

"I got you a present too. Actually, two presents. Remember I promised you a birthday present, while you were in space?" He grinned, passing her two boxes.

"Asshole," she muttered under her breath, then began to unwrap her presents.
