His song 'Brother' is about living his life without his brother Mikey and it has a hidden message in it. In the intro you can hear sobbing, "Mikey." And someone saying "he killed himself." Then at some point in the middle he says "Mikey are you still breathing?" Mikey was really upset back on his bad days and I think Gerard made the song trying to tell Mikey how much he loved/loves and cared/cares about him. Gerard loves and cares about his baby brother.
