Heavy tears clouded her eyes, her right hand clasping her mouth while she sobbed as if she was being kidnapped and someone had put a rag on her. Why did he have to leave so soon? Couldn't he just stay the night? Camila's vision was blurry, as she looked into the frame of her ex lover and herself standing next to each other while they were both laughing. There wasn't a sign for her that was obvious—no one ever told her that he would leave like that. God, she could have known sooner if she payed attention to the clues and messages. All the nights, days, weeks—Shawn was never there for her. But didn't he love her? She reminded herself about the times he held her so carefully as if she was fragile, and the nights they spent laughing and rambling about useless things. Everything went by so fast for her, a blur almost.

And she hated every single part of it.

The reminiscing occured again, the pang of loneliness striking her again with the most deadliest effect. Heartbreak. She didn't want to see him ever again, but the thought of him still coming back would always tear her apart—but somehow, someway, she wanted that to happen. She always hoped that he would come back, despite the fact that she hated him and still didn't want to face him. Just one word from his mouth would rip her to pieces, but she wanted to stay strong.

She was happy for him, right? Even if he did break her heart, shattering every fraction and piece of her soul inside? God, she just wanted him. She wanted him to come back, and tell her, "all I found when I left was heartbreak and misery." Camila was jealous, definitely. That he didn't care about her anymore—because he already found someone else. Someone who he loved more than her, so she thought.

Wasn't that what always happened? Every relationship has its flaws, and truly, deeply this was one of them. When you don't love someone any more, even if you poured your heart and soul into them—at the end, everything falls apart and breaks. Why did this happen? Why does this happen? To think you love someone, and then they betray you and lie? Was that a relationship, typically in the modern days?

But he loved her still. He still loved her with all of his heart, even when he left. To see that painful feeling stuck in him for leaving her all alone. That sick, cold-hearted man. Camila may have thought that when he found someone new, his past feelings for her were slipped aside and waiting to be thrown away, but he still loved her. He was still a fool for her, always.

And he did want it to last, he truly did. But love didn't work that way, at least not for the two of them.

There was one thing certain for them; you always get hurt by love at the end.
