Dan and I have been discussing adoption for a while. So I decided to suprise him by telling him we're going into town to adopt the child we've been discussing forever. I came into the lounge, seeing Dan in his usual "browsing position". He popped his head up and looked at me. "Dan I have big news!!" I exclaimed with excitement in my voice. "Oh god, what?" He said teasingly. "I think it's time to do what we've been talking about for years. I think it's time to adopt a child and start a family." Dan looked at me in shock.
