"I never noticed..." You whisper to yourself but still loud enough for him to hear. "I might just cut it later I guess."
"I think it looks cute on you." Iruka murmured to himself with a slight blush on his cheek.
"You think so?" You ask, catching his quiet words.
Iruka face erupted into a deep red when he realized that you heard him, but nodded to assure you.
"I see.... than I guess I'll keep it then." You say as you stroked your hair, a soft yet unnoticeable smile gracing your masked face.
"Um Iruka?" You called out lightly.
"Yes?"
"Wanna hang out after school later? You know, seeing that we don't hang out as much as we used to."
"Sure, where do you want to go?"
"I'm not sure, we'll figure it out later I guess."
"Okay."
Just then Noboyuki-sensei walked in and started class.
Time Skip- Shizuo chasing Izaya
Everyone exits the class for recess. You run over to Iruka to join a game of tag, accompanied by Kakashi.
"Hey guys, may I join?" You ask politely
"Of course!" a couple of the kids in the group chorused.
You turned to Kakashi who was just a couple feet behind you. "Joining?"
"I'll just win anyways, but sure."
"Alright!" You clapped happily as you gave him a closed eye smile.
He shook his head lightly as the kids began to start the game.
"1, 2, 3. NOT IT!!" Every one chorused.
"Kakashi your it!" One of the girls in the group giggled before everyone ran off.
You being one of the first to run off turned your head to look behind you and saw Kakashi charging towards you. You looked around and saw all the other children was far away. Letting out a slight giggle you made a sharp turn to the left, distancing yourself even more from the silver haired boy before stopping.
"You. Can't. Catch. Me~" You yelled in a sing song voice before taking off, increasing your speed by 30%. You did this because, yes you don't want to be tagged but you don't want to run out of stamina in the middle of the game because then you would be an easy target.
Looking back behind you, you completely lost sight of Kakashi. You let your guard down for a split second as you bent down to catch your breath. Less than a second later you felt a hand press down quickly on your shoulder before hearing a little boys voice.
"Your it!" Mizuki yelled as he ran off.
"What the-? Wait, Kakashi must of tagged another person while I wasn't looking. That sly dog." You thought to yourself before getting ready to for another sprint towards the nearest student, which just so happened to be Iruka.
Smirking to yourself as you narrowed your eyes slightly, you ran full speed ahead towards Iruka's unaware body.
Just now noticing your presence, his eyes widened in realization when he found himself as your target. Running as far as his feet can carry him, he let out a loud and hearty laugh. "You'll never catch me!" He yelled.
"WATCH ME!!" You shouted back in a playful voice.
Iruka managed to escape your sight and his somewhere to catch his breath. When he let his guard down, you had found him under a tree. You giggled softly to yourself as an idea popped up int your head. Bringing your chakara to your feet and silently climbing up the tree, you hung your self upside down from one of the branches before tagging his arm and whispered into his ear. "Tag. Your it."
He jumped at the contact and looked, only to see you jumping out of the tree and running off , way out of his sight.
Before he could tag anyone else, the teacher called us back in for class.
Time Skip
Class was finally done and everyone was leaving to do what ever it is they wanted to do. You ran over to Iruka, who was patiently waiting for you.
"Hey! Sorry I'm late!" You say as you stopped in front of him. "I had to do some extra stuff for the teacher." You explained.
"It's okay." He said while smiling. "So you ready?"
"Yeah." You beamed.
"Can I join?" A familiar voice asked.
Kakashi's P.O.V.
I left the school and searched the crowd for (Y/n). She wasn't anywhere in sight. I waited a couple more minutes before deciding to head back home. Just as I walked away from the schools door, I heard a familiar voice. Turning my head to the direction of the sound, I saw (Y/n) running over to a boy with brown hair, pulled into a high ponytail that resembled that of a pineapple. I think his name was Iruka.
They stopped and had a mini conversation. I wasn't able to hear them to well so I came closer.
"It's okay. So are you ready to go?" Iruka said.
'Wait they're going somewhere? Just the two of them? Alone? Are they going on a date or something?' All these questions ran through my mind like a wild fire and it made me feel some kind of way.
"Yeah." (Y/n) beamed.
Her smile.... she looks so happy...
My body seemed to move without my consent.
"Can I join?" I ask."
'Why did I do that?'
Everyone turned around and faced me, waiting a second before speaking again.
"Sure." She said.
I felt relieved for some reason, but I didn't show any emotion towards it.
"So, where are we going anyways?" I ask with my normal bored expression.
"Good question, where are we going to, (Y/n)?"
We both turn our gaze to the said girl.
(Y/n)'s P.O.V.
'Dang! I completely forgot about that. Come on (Y/n) think! They're both waiting! '
I lower my head for a second in thought before raising it again with an idea in my head.
"Actually, I thought that we could walk around the village and visit places that intrigue us." I say.
'Hehehe, wait to hide the fact that you had no idea of where to go!' I applauded myself.
"Sounds like a plan." Iruka says.
"Then let's go." Kakashi says, waiting for us to start walking.
