The way his ocean blue eyes shimmered in the sun, it's almost as if they were meant to be together.

Even though I've been forced to interact with all my life, meeting new people's always a fear of mine.

Especially when I lived at a palace, no one cared for me, they just cared for the crown on my face.

You can't force people to be a certain way. Even if they're in the wrong, it's up to them to change themselves.

My uncle always told me you can never run away from destiny because it will always be trailing right behind you until you are ready to accept who you truly are.

No matter how fast you run, no matter how many people you may deceive, your true self will always shine through.

"Now you believe that I don't carry poisons?"

I grabbed his arm and started to examine the injured area. It's a minor injury, his wrists bruised, causing the area to be sensitive to the touch.

I went through my bag and got him some cream that will ease the pain. From the container, I grabbed a bit, just enough to cover the surface of the bruise. Then I got a bandage and wrapped it around his wrist.

As I began to tie the bandage on his wrist, I could feel eyes piercing my skin. I quickly got a glance from the girl who came earlier. I wondered if she's his girlfriend or something like that. It didn't matter to me anyway, It's not like I'm going to see him again.

Fate intertwined our paths, after that, they'll break off and continue on their original path.

Although, something else crossed my mind. As much as I don't mind helping people medically, it couldn't have been at the perfect time. By now, Ryuji's guards would have realized that I have left and conjured some plan to find me.

"How did you hurt your wrist?"

"My horse was frightened and it kicked me off."

"Resulting me landing on my wrist, and lead me running into you." He said while smiling.

"She's a beautiful horse," I said. The horse who clearly has no interest in our conversation is busy in her dreamland.

"She's stubborn too."

"What surprises me is that she actually allowed you to go near her, she never goes near anyone but my mother and I."

I couldn't help myself trying to figure him out. His calm, reserved presence makes you seem you know everything about him, but when you talk to Izana, there's so much more than he leads on. It felt good talking to him. This is the most I talked to someone in a while, other than Margret of course.

As long as I am a princess, I'm always treated differently. I want to be treated like a normal person. Someone who breathes the same air as you, who has a heart and a soul.

That cycle, the endless cycle of people using their status to make others feel bad about themselves:

Was probably the reason my parents got murdered in the first place.

I snapped back into reality and dusted the dust and dirt off my dress and got up from the ground. I didn't even realize but Izana left and started preparing his horses saddle.

"What's a talented herbalist like yourself doing here alone deep in the forest?"

"I have a job in another kingdom so I'm heading there now," I replied, keeping the major details.

I'm not going to tell him about my current situation, he could be a spy who came to find me and bring me back. So for now, I'm just going to keep it to myself.

"If you don't mind me asking, which kingdom is it?"

"I think it's the kingdom's called Clarines."

"We are heading there right now. We can give you a ride if you want."

It's not a bad idea, It would get me to Clarines quickly, but then again I don't know how he is, he could be a guard or an assassin for all I know.

"Sure, If I won't slow you down."

He held out his hand signaling me to grab it, once I did he lifted me up and he put me on top of his horse. Once Izana got on his horse, I wrapped my hands around his waist. His men also got unto their horse, two of them started to ride ahead of us.

"Oh, by the way, that girl over there's named Phoebe. She may come off as scary, but she's great."

"Scary?" She said in response to Izana.

We all started to laugh.

"Are you ready?"

I nodded.

Then, we made our way to Clarines.

As we rode off the beings of the forest soon became smaller and smaller. It made me sad because this forest, in particular, has helped me in a lot with the medicines I've created.

For that, it holds a special place in my heart.

At this moment more than ever I felt alive. With the adrenaline pumping through my veins I couldn't help but be ecstatic the adventures to come.

No matter how times I would think, no matter how many arguments I would have with myself.

Deep down, it the bottom of my heart, underneath the pain suffering I've gone through, my memories it all.

I couldn't help but feel that there's a storm coming.
