"Zera! I'm leaving... I'll be back! " I yell. I step out the door and locked it. I turn around and look at the clouds. "Hmm I'm assuming its going to rain later on the day? " I walk down the steps and unlock my car. I got in and started it up, I then pull back and drive off.
While driving it began to rain and I get a sudden phone call. I know using your phone while driving is bad but I was stupid enought to pay more attention to my phone... Unknown call?.. But from who? ... *Ring! Ring! * I looked at it for a second, deciding wheather to answer or not.... "Hello?" I say. It stayed quiet for a moment. I look at the road to see where I'm going. "Hello?!.. Who is this?" Still no response, so I hunged up and put my phone down. I look back up and see a black cat crossing the road. "Oh shit!" I step on the breaks fast and hope I stop in time. Right when the car would slow down to a complete stop I heard a big thump. I gasp and got out of the car. I close the door and walk to the front of the car slowly... I covered my mouth. I killed the cat. Oh my gosh! What do I do! I thought. I walk back and fourth, thinking on what to do with the body. At this point I wasn't paying much attention to the rain. I didn't want to leave it there and I didn't want to drag it to the side of the road. I shake my hands in frustration, so I decided to go back in the car. I look around for something and I see a rag. I grabbed it and stepped out. I went up to the dead cat and gently rapped it around the rag. I pick it up and slowly walk to the back of my car and open the trunk. I make some room and slowly layed it down. Its body was limp and lifeless. I tried to find a pulse but I couldn't feel its heart beat. I stood there and looked at it. I felt really sad and stupid for even looking at my phone. I bang my fist on my head, "ugggh! You're so stupid" a mumbled. I love animals and I never thought I would kill one in a car accident.
.. I mean.. I could barry it in my back yard?..... I'll just figure it out when I get to the house. I shut the trunk and get back in the car.
I arrived to my house. I live in a mansion with my sister named Zera and shes also my butler. The mansion is surrounded by trees so I basically live in the woods. We have a pool in our back yard and up ahead we have a walk through garden and from there you enter the woods and fallow a trail.
But back to where I left off, I get out of the car and walk to the trunk. I noticed that it stopped raining for while. I open the trunk and see the dead cat still laying there. I reach in my purse to call Zera so she could come out but I realized that I left my phone in the front seat. I went back and got my phone. I close the door and walk back, I lean my back against the car and call Zera.

Conversation:

"Hello Caroline".
" Hey Zera".
"What's up? "
"I need you to come out real quick"
"Okay, I'll be out "
"Hurry over, okay"

-End of conversation

I hang up and put my phone in my pocket, I then walk to the trunk.
"What the fuck!?!? " I look in the trunk and the cats gone! I shock my head "wait.. What! It was right here?!" The only thing there was the rag. No no no no no, that cat was dead?! Wasn't it? I got on my knees and look under the car. Nothings there, but how?! This doesnt make any sence, and I know I'm not crazy. I hear the door open and see zera walking out. I run to her and pulled her by the arm dragging her to the car. "What's going on? " zera asked confused. "Okay, I hit a cat while driving and it died and I know it cause I was there but it WAS HERE. It was here in my trunk, dead and now its gone! " I put my hand on my head frustrated. Zera looked at me all confused, she arched an eyebrow and looked at the trunk and back at me. ".....soooo you're telling me that there was a dead cat here and now its gone? " she said. I shook my head yes. It was quiet for a moment but She then starts laughing. I look at her and frown,"its not funny!" I yell and punch her arm. "Owwww" she rubs her arm "so now there's a zombie kitty around here?".
"stop joking around, I'm serious! " I look around but all I see is the woods. Could it have gone in the woods? I shock my head and close the trunk. I sigh, "what are you doing? " she asked. "Well I'm going inside.. I sound like complete lunatic.... I'll be in my room if you need me" I lock the car doors and start walking to the mansion. Zera stood there thinking, she took a step "oh no my shoes!" Her shoes were covered in mud, "now I'll have to-" she stopped talking.... While looking down she noticed a couple of paw prints in the dirt. She gasped "oh my-" she looks at the door but I wasn't there anymore. She looked back down and followed the tracks. She walked but stopped, the paw prints ended when it lead to grass, she looks up and see the woods. "Hmmm" she then walks back to the door and opens it, looks out once again and closes the door.

......

It was now 10pm and I'm getting tired. I yawn and go out of my room. I walk down the hall and stand beside the stairs realm. "Zera I'm going to bed, I'll see you in the morning... Good night " I raise my vocie a bit. I see zera walk below me in my direction and looks up "good night Caroline, sleep well" she says "thanks and I'll try, night" shes still wearing her suit, its a black tail coat, black dress pants and skull designed convers. I walk back to my room, turn off the lights, get in bed and fall to sleep......

Meanwhile with zera...

She fixes the pillows and sighs in relief "ah.. The mansion is clean and perfect" she smiles and plops on the couch. She looks over at the table and reaches for her book, she opens it and starts reading. A few minutes pass by and she decides to made a quick snack. She sits down and right when she's about to bite in to the sandwich she made she heard something. She stood still and listened. She heard the sound again, she looked at the door. It sounds like something scratching it. She slowly walks up to the door and opens it. She sees that nobody's there, "meow! " she slightly jumps and looks down. She sees a black cat standing infront of her. "Uhhhh... " she had no word but to only stare at it. Its long black coat was shinny and its eyes were a dark ember. The cat meowed again and walk towards zera. Zera stood still and let it rub against her legs. "Aww you're so cute" she smiles. She looks around the mansion and looks at the direction were my rooms at. She closed and locked the door, she then walks up the stairs and opens my door. She sees that I'm asleep and closes the door. When she gets to the stairs she looks down to see the cat sitting patiently, like it was waiting for her. She walks down and crouches down on her feet. They both made eye contact and zera just fell in love with the cat. She knows that I dont allow animals in the mansion, "one cat wouldn't kill her... Right? " the cat meowed. She scrached its chin and it starts purring. Zera starts turning off the lights, puts her book and sandwich in one hand and carries the cat in the another. She gets to her room and puts the cat on the bed and sets her book and plate on her desk. She sits down and picks up the sandwich, right when she's about to bite she can see the cat starring at her from the corner of her eye. She looks at it "what?.. You want some? " the cat meowed "fine she ripped off a piece of her sandwich and gave it to the cat. In a flash it gobbled it down, it meowed it again. "Oh my aren't you hungry? " Zera giggled, she then splits the sandwich in half. Zera checks on the cat and it was now laying down on one side of the bed. She gets up and changes in her pajamas, she lays down on the bed and reaches for her book. She quickly looks at the clock, its now 11:30pm "I'll just read for 30 more minutes" she starts to read but she get interrupted by the cat. Out of all places it decided to lay on her chest, zera sighs "now you're not being fair" the cat starts purring. Zera puts the book on the table next to her and turns off the light. She gets under the covers and lays there, hearing the cat purring as she drifts away to sleep.....
