After our dance, we walked out of the school and down the street towards the park by Peter's house.

"It's your turn to push me on the swings." Peter smiled, running the short distance towards the swings. I laughed and began to push him.

"Whee!" Peter yelled as he got higher.

"You're such a child." I laughed.

"Who isn't though?" He asked.

Peter then jumped from the swing, landing on the grass several feet in front of it. "Let's do it again!" He cheered.

"Oh my god." I laughed.

"You want to try?" Peter asked, holding onto the swing.

I shook my head. "I'm in a dress. And it's cold."

"Let's go then." Peter walked around the swing, putting his arm around my shoulders.

We walked in comfortable silence towards his house.

We were a few houses away when Peter was suddenly knocked to the ground. Arms wrapped around me, covering my mouth with a large hand.

"Zabrat' yeye." A Russian accent spoke. Peter rushed towards me, but was knocked to the ground by something with a large metal arm.

"Skylar!" Peter yelled as two large arms wrapped around him.

I teleported out of the mans arms, only to be trapped by two larger men, who covered my face with a cloth. It wasn't chloroform but it made my body go limp. I was fully aware of my surroundings but I couldn't move or speak.

"Skylar!" I heard Peter's panicked voice cry out.

I wanted to call back, to let him know I was okay. But I couldn't call out for more than one reason. Because I just physically couldn't, and because I had no idea if I would be okay.

I was taken to a van and laid down on the back seat.

"Pryamo v samolete. Ne ostanavlivaytes' ni na chto." The taller man spoke to the vans driver. He climbed into the back of the van, sitting next to my head. The van started and quickly took off.

I wanted to cry. I wanted to scream. I wanted to fight back. I hated how I couldn't move. And for once in my life, I was terrified. I wasn't even that scared when my house was on fire, or when my mom was taken away.

I tried to stay awake as long as I could, but slipped into sleep.

I woke up when I felt my body being moved. They were carrying me onto a jet.

I was slowly regaining movement in my arms and legs. Hopefully before the jet took off I could at least try and make a run for it.

I was placed into a seat on the jet, across from a man with a uniform on. It was all black, except for his left arm. It was completely metal. A small red star on his shoulder. Long brown hair hung in his face and his mouth and nose was covered by a black mask.

He looked over at me as another figure walked towards me, sitting next to the man with the metal arm. My eyes widened as I realized who it was.

Paul looked at me with an emotionless expression. They had finally got to him.

"Ne pogovorit' s ney. Govorite tol'ko na russkom yazyke." The Russian man spoke, leaving the cabin of the jet.

After several minutes, I regained movement of my mouth. "What did he say?" I asked.

Both men looked at me. Paul went to open his mouth, but the man spoke first. "Ne." Paul closed his mouth.

"Paul." I stretched out my fingers towards him. "I'm your friend."

Paul looked at my hand. He looked like he was having a battle with himself. "I'm sorry." His voice came out pained. "I can't help you."

"Zatknis'." The man with a metal arm glared at Paul.

Paul looked back at me with a sad, pained look. "Don't let them win."

The man with the metal arm stood up and moved across the room. He was obviously trying to stop himself from killing Paul, or both of us.

"What's his name?" I asked Paul.

Paul was trying to fight whatever was controlling him. "I only know to call him Winter Soldier."

"Why did they take me?" I asked.

Paul looked down for a minute, then back at me. "For horrible things."

"Enough!" The metal armed man yelled, storming towards Paul. "You've said too much."

"She'll find out anyway." Paul stood up. They were insanely close to each other.

"That's not our place to tell her." The Winter Soldier gritted his teeth together.

I could hear the jet start and I felt like I had enough energy and movement to run. As the two argued, I quickly pulled myself off the seat and ran for the door.

As I swung the door open, a cold metal arm wrapped around my waist, pulling me into a warm body. "Not today, sweetheart."

I was thrown back onto the chair and another cloth was placed over my face and I was knocked out.
